As you may recall from my first Wantable post here, I have been subbed to the Wantable jewelry box pretty much since the beginning and love to receive the monthly surprise of accessories. ( they’ve later added scarfs, watches, wallets to the mix) If you would like more detailed info check out my initial post. In summary you fill out a super detailed style profile, tell them all your likes and dislikes, choose to receive either all kinds of accessories, or just jewelry, and then either choose a monthly box or make a one time purchase.
Now on to the fun stuff. This month I received four pieces; two rings, a necklace, and a pair of earrings. There was also a bonus item, a red lipstick they included for a minor billing mistake that was so immediately corrected that I did not even notice it in the first place lol. One thing I really appreciate and give props to Wantable is how they deal with customer relations. They are pretty prompt in finding solutions to problems and accommodate requests.
My first piece is the stunning Eloise Necklace; my absolute favorite of this month. How can I not love this piece, it is so charming, and full of color including this seasons purples and pinks; perfect for transforming any plain top to something special. ( Valued at $32)
Update: This photo has been chosen as Wantable’s winner of Photo Friday. Here is the link
This is the only piece in the box that I am iffy about. I wasn’t right away; changed my opinion after actually wearing it. The Cooper ring is essentially an ID tag bracelet in mini finger size form. Don’t get me wrong, I like ID tags, and the whole military inspired sporty look; ( or fancy, check out my military coat post here for dressed up military) but I think the back of this ring should have been straight metal with only sides being chain. The back chain makes it uncomfortable to wear. I feel like this piece is not that well made. (Valued at $8)
How glam are these Aggi earrings? I can picture myself wearing them with a flowy top, long skirt or a nice dress. I adore the pale pink stone in the middle and the unusual half-moon like shape. I remember leaving a comment on Wantable’s facebook page a while ago that I crave more color in my jewelery boxes and feel like someone there listens and take notes. (Valued at $15)
The Cayleen ring can be worn both ways, arrowed layers up or down. It absolutely goes with everything and has a very modern look. Cayleen is perfect for mixing up with some other contemporary rings such as midi styles for that very “now” multiple rings in one hand look. She is a winner. (valued at $24) The total value of my box is $79 not bad at all for the monthly sub $36 that I paid. What do you think of this box?
