Hi Ladies. A new week began. I know Mondays are hard on most of us. When I am in holiday mode though I kinda forget the days. With my six year old son off school today ( parent-teacher conferences) we spent the morning together; me sipping tea, and eating breakfast, and him eating zuzu’s ( these little pastries that a local coffee shop sells). Afterwards we walked by the lake, took pictures of a seagull, and ducks, and just had peace & quiet we don’t experience often rushing everywhere. It was good for my soul. For both of ours actually.
I wanted to share a couple pics from my recent bday. How do you usually celebrate yours? This year I had a couple mini parties with family, and friends. The day of my birthday my hubby took a day off from work, my oldest daughter was off from school this time her teachers on a work day, and the three of us head to my favorite breakfast place in town. After a good breakfast of omelette, they surprised me with the first of several cakes; a mini fruit tart. Seriously I can never say no to fresh fruit tarts. 🙂
A couple nights after, my hubby took me out to dinner. I wore this Popbasic dress from the Alice collection (sold out now) and my Ann Taylor boots that I adore. ( on sale now) They go with everything, and I love the detailing on them. If you are interested in Popbasic’s new collection Amelie here is a link where you can get $15 off.
My hubby and I don’t get date night out often but when we do it’s the best. Sometimes I forget how I forgot to talk without being interrupted haha. Not that I am complaining at all. Total thumbs up for couple time tough.
I would love to hear how you celebrate your birthdays, and squeeze in couple time?

Have you ever thought it would be relaxing to have your Thanksgiving dinner cooked for you, have your loved ones around a table to enjoy delicious food while having not to worry about undercooked turkey, making sure the gravy tastes just right, and all the cleaning afterwards? I sure do.
As much as I love entertaining, having three kids, I don’t seem to hold parties for a large group of people very frequently lately. My dinner get togethers at home are usually for a smaller group at a time. For Thanksgiving, as our families live very far away, we usually either have a big celebration with friends, or take short trips. Hosting Thanksgiving at home is difficult in my lifestyle right now as I always run from one kids school to another, and from an activity to the next.
This is exactly why I loved coming across Thanksgiving reservations options at Buca di Beppo. This is such a time saver allowing you to be with people who matter to you, savor a delicious meal hassle-free.
I thought if you are also in need of a hassle-free holiday with family & friends you could take advantage of their Thanksgiving feast at the restaurants. Just make a reservation, and show up. For those of you that still want the comfort of your home with delicious meals already prepared, Buca di Beppo also offers Thanksgiving Feast Party Pans which are to go meals that could be picked up on the curbside in many locations. Both options are so easy, effortless, and gurantee you’ll be able to relax too.
The restaurant serves their regular menu as well as special Thanksgiving dishes. Which Thanksgiving dish would you try? I would go for the white meat Turkey, and roasted garlic mashed patatoes, but skip the pumpkin pie for Colassal Brownie Sundae. Need my chocolate everyday of the year, even on holidays. 🙂
Tell me about your Thanksgiving plans and how you make them as hassle-free as possible!
