LITTLE LACE BOX REVIEW FEBRUARY 2015
LITTLE LACE BOX REVIEW FEBRUARY 2015

By now you’ve probably heard of one of my new very favorite lifestyle subscription boxes; Little Lace Box. I’ve been receiving this girly, and very high quality box the last couple months, and I’ve been enjoying February items for about ten days now. If you haven’t read my previous Little Lace Box reviews, you can find them here. Promise you, they are fun, and have so much info. February Little Lace Box was a little different than their regular boxes. The NE winter storms affected the delivery of items their designers needed to create some of the inital items that would go into the box. Although the February box didn’t turn out exactly like the ladies of LLB envisioned, I think under the difficult circumstances, they still managed to put together a pretty good box.

The company closed off March box sales to new subscribers ( current subscribers, and annual subscribers are still getting a March box) to catch up. You’ll hear from me immediately when new subscriptions open up for April via TheBoxQueen Facebook.

Before we look at each individual piece, let me tell you a bit about Little Lace Box’s point system. When you open up an account with them, you receive 200 points. You also receive 1 LLB point for each dollar you spend in their boutique. Product reviewing will earn you another 50. For every 50 LLB points, you get to spend one LLB reward dollar in their boutique. Being subscribed to LLB boxes, ( think of how many points you’ll get with the annual subscription purchase) and buying from their boutique really is rewarding. 🙂

Tub Truffles by CeeCee & Bee (ON SALE for $18.99) My husband, and my kids thought these were gourmet chocolate truffles, until I told them they are for the bath tub. Hearing that, and knowing how much I like pretty things around our tub, hubby looked at me, and asked “Are you sure you’ll actually use them?”. He is right, I could just easily use the Tub Truffle’s for decoration, but I couldn’t resist.

You may have read around the blog before that I have so much LOVE ( capital letter amount of it) for a good bubble bath, and use many products every single day taking those baths. The night of the day I took this pic, I took a bath using the big white square Tub Truffle on the upper left side. You take one, crumble it under running water, and enjoy the wonderfulness it adds to your special me time. ( sometimes my only me time in the house haha)

BONUS ITEM- Hula Bliss Goat Milk Lotion by Dancin’ Goat Skin Care  This lotion is a bonus item. It’s a good product for us all as we are coming out of the harsh winter, and getting ready for dresses, and sandals. It’s an all natural lotion, with goat’s milk, and coconut oil to deliver intense moisture, and a healthy glow to the skin. I am looking forward to start using it.

Earrings by Whitley Designs ($55) I think Little Lace Box sisters are pro’s at choosing elegant, delicate jewelry. (remember this necklace, and bracelet) I am happy I got this version of the earrings ( this month there were a couple versions of the products). They are drop style, but as they are not statement earrings they go with everything.

Pink Arrow Stationary by P.Press Papers ($12.99) I can never get enough stationary. Although I love learning about new technologies, and consider myself pretty tech-forward, I would never think of stopping to write in my journal, or stop writing thank you notes. These ones are simple, and cute.

Original Goat Milk Hot Fudge by Beekman 1802 ($12.99) Ladies, Beekman Orange Zest Fudge, how can I explain the deliciousness this jar of goodness is. It’s so rich, great to eat on its own, and perfect on other things like cookies. It’s paradise for a chocolate lover like me. It’s made with goat milk, which in my eyes make it even more special. I love myself a good goat cheese, and obviously goat milk has the same amazing effect when it’s mixed in food. Beekman’s Fudge is also handmade using granulated sugar. I can go on, and on about this, so if you like fudge, just order a jar, and I know you’ll come back to tell me your praises. 🙂

When the subscriptions open up again, you can use my special code TBQ10 , to get $10 off from 3 and 6 box subscriptions. I’ll give you LLB updates on my social media as soon as I hear anything.

You made me love LLB. Another great review. Too bad they are not taking any new subscribers. I’ll have to wait for next month.

    • Theboxqueen

I think this sub is worth waiting for Sophia. I’ll announce when the new subs open up. I am glad I introduced you to LLB. XOXO, Elif

  • Tulay Ban

Yummm for the fudge! I loved the bath tub accessries. Because i could not use them. They are wonderful for decoration.

    • Theboxqueen

The fudge is So good, and very dangerous. I finished half of the jar myself. Oops. 🙂 I was so inclined not to use the tub truffles myself but just could not resist. They make the water feel silky btw. XOXO, Elif

  • Cheryl

This is my first LLB box and I loved everything! Being in NE myself I completely understand the issues they encountered, but I think they did a fabulous job curating the box, and I never would have guessed this wasn’t the box they had originally planned. My earrings were the small silver hearts- so delicate and pretty. 🙂

    • Theboxqueen

I thought February box was great as well. I can’t even imagine how much better it would have been without the issues however if they didn’t tell us I wouldn’t even know. Really LOVE this sub! Have you received March? I love the canvas idea and trying to decide which photo to have printed on it. 🙂 Have a great week. XOXO, Elif

  • Starla

What an awesome box, I have never heard of this box before! I love those earrings- they are so pretty and dainty!

    • Theboxqueen

This is a lovely subscription, and I agree Starla the earrings are so delicate and pretty. 🙂 XOXO, Elif

  • Another amazing box this month! There’s nothing better than a relaxing bubble bath and then enjoying a spoonful (or two) of chocolate!
