Does a scent ever take you on an imaginary journey where you want to transform your look, your home, or your table settings inspired by it?

I am an emotional person by nature, and like to think that I am pretty in tune with my feelings. They affect my color, decoration, and style choices every single day.

You know how I’ve been talking about the way spring has luckily been knocking on our door here in Oregon. Parts of my neighborhood are almost entirely covered by cherry trees. Cherry trees are my absolute favorites. When I got to experience Glade’s Blooming Peony & Cherry scent, it evoked similar feelings of joy, and happy energy the cherry trees I walk by running make me feel.

The scent inspired me so much that I took my cues from it to bring spring to my table setting when I was having guests over for brunch. I also made little changes around my home to welcome this cheerful season.

My beloved cherry trees <3

See below how I set our table for a mid- morning brunch last Sunday. My theme was a spring garden.

I thought the Butterfly Meadows tea & dinner set we received as one of our wedding gifts years ago perfectly symbolized the romantic, and flirty aroma of Glade’s Blooming Peony & Cherry, as well as matching so well with the spring season. The lovely scents of peony, fresh pink roses, and cherry with a bit of balancing whitewood +creamy musk make me want to fill my house with flowers, butterflies, and soft colors.

A bird joins my whimsical critters of spring, to elevate the romantic feel of the table. The dark pink Glade Blooming Peony & Cherry jar candles add a pop of color.

Blues, pinks, yellows, and greens all bring a spring garden to life. I added lime, lemon, and apple decorations to support my theme’s connection to nature.

As I love to have my personal style match my vision of a dinner table when I am entertaining, I chose a dress with flower print, and bright color.

I also brought spring to other parts of our living room. You can really change a space by small chances such as adding accessories. I changed the pillows on my sofa, and chairs, added a white/yellow throw, brought in long flowers in a huge vase to be placed in front of our fireplace, and sprinkled colorful candles all over the living room.

What changes do you make in your home decor for spring?

The Wax Melt Warmer melted the wax melts slowly filling our living room with the perfect amount of girly, flirty fragrance. LOVE!

Wow, the cherry trees are gorgeous! Love how you incorporated a spring theme into your table setting, your decor and your outfit.
