Ladies I am SO ready for some fashion talk. This week wasn’t very easy. It actually started with last weekend. My puppy, we later learned, got a very bad cold. However we weren’t sure what was wrong with her so it was X-rays after X-rays that got me worried sick. Starting the Monday already exhausted, I got busy with many commitments, and finally got pretty sick myself for two days.I am thankfully feeling better, and so very ready for some lighthearted style chit chat which relaxes me amidst the fast pace. 🙂

This week most of my finds focused on lovely spring transitional pieces. ALL of the above favorites can be worn on their own if you live in warmer climates, or they can be layered if you are in the cooler states.
This cute dress is perfect to wear with either No # 7 one of the seasons hottest shoe styles, caged, open toe chunky heel shoes, or could work casually with flat sandals such as this summer closet staple.
I’ve received my second RockBox (a very fun, and different jewelry subscription) a couple days ago ( first box review here), and received these gorgeous cobalt Kendra Scott earrings. You can see the box here, and me wearing them in my instagram picture here. ( if you are on Instagram, find me by the way and let me know 🙂 ) I can recommend the earrings wholeheartedly. They have great design as expected from Kendra Scott, and the color goes with everything. <3

I can’t not mention the Lush maxi dress. It has just the right color for spring, and is on sale which makes it a great deal. Lush is a youthful brand I buy a lot from Nordstrom.
FROM THEBOXQUEEN’S CLOSET
This season I see a lot of slim fit skirts in original styles paired with modern sleeveless crop tops, or almost crop in my case.
Style Tip: Try a skirt with an unexpected fabric in an original style, and pair it with a modern cut top. I really liked the sporty fabric and the ruffle hem of this grey skirt that I discovered very recently. I chose the printed top with the V open back to pair with it. I love that this outfit felt dressed up but is actually very comfortable. Just add high heel sandals to balance out the proportions and you are ready for a lovely day out.
You can wear a bralette under this top or you can choose to wear a backless bra. I’ve used both with success.
What do you think of this week’s finds? Have you tried the sporty fabric skirt/sleeveless top combo? Which fun pieces did you find this week? I would love to hear!
