How do you ladies re-energize during the day?I would love to hear your ideas, and share with you a couple ways I do it. We all need tips for re-energizing in this busy world of ours right?

Take this morning for instance. I woke up at 6:30 am like usual. My kids were just waking up, and at around 6:45 the chaos ensued. After preparing breakfast ( different one for each nevertheless LOL – picky eaters), finding matching socks from their sock drawers, ( a huge undertaking so early in the morning even though they are supposed to be paired 🙂 ), getting everyone the right healthy snack, and making sure backpacks had their homework’s, we were out of the door by 7:45. The drop-off’s ended at 9 am; and I was already truly exhausted.

The same routine was on repeat in the afternoon. In between pick-up & drop-off times, I of course fit in a trillion other responsibilities; along with mini workouts, and some fun time. ( which means, at the moment, I probably had about 20 minutes to read a book, or have coffee with a friend haha.) Oh my! I am not even counting the three hours between 9-12 I spend here on TheBoxQueen doing a variety of things from housekeeping, writing, or photo editing. Although it can be tiring, I view it as pure “me time” and I love it. <3

It’s pretty impossible to stay on such a schedule without re-energizing multiple times during the day right? Here are some ways I keep myself energized, and I would LOVE to hear your tips & tricks too! I need all the help I can get ladies. Hope mine give some ideas to make your days easier. Don’t Skip Breakfast – Start Your Morning with Healthy, and Nutritious Food 

This sounds like such a no-brainer, but is easily bypassed if you don’t intentionally give yourself 10 minutes to have a proper breakfast. Lucky for me, I was raised in a family that made breakfast, and a rich breakfast table a priority when my habits were forming at an early age. Although I don’t necessarily have time for a similar spread during weekdays, I do my best to at least eat a healthy breakfast like a quick low fat omelette, or a grilled cheese sandwich. Eating this breakfast about an hr after wake-up time re-energizes my mornings. ( and sets a good example for my kids)

A Refreshing Energy Drink with Natural Ingredients is Your Friend 

Staying hydrated during the day is huge, and really helps re-energize your body. I’ve loved V8 products for a long time; and lately keep the V8 V-Fusion Energy Drinks close by to re-energize during the day. I feel good about them as the energy comes naturally from green tea. The caffeine in it is amazing for waking me up when I feel taken over with sleepiness during the day, and the serving of delicious fruit is lovely for my taste buds. I also absolutely love that V8 V-Fusion has no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, and no added sugar. Yay!! At 50 calories a can, and B vitamin in it, it’s my go to energizing drink.

Onto more tips. I think you won’t be surprised to hear one of my favorite ways to re-energize during the day is moving.

Infuse Your Day with Multiple Mini Work-Outs 

Now I am not suggesting you go to the gym multiple times a day haha. There are some days you can clock in bona fida gym hours but I know it may not be feasible every single day. Having mini sessions through out the day helps so much with re-energizing your body though.

If you can get yourself to the gym that’s amazing, and you could even run on the treadmill for 20 minutes to instantly feel you have more energy. (seriously- nothing better) No worries if you can’t make it to the gym. Just take a 20 min walk around your office building, walk to take care of your errands if you can, or take your dog for a spin around the neighborhood. It’ll all refresh you, and help you feel energized for the rest of your day.

Take a Break from Your Phone 

I’ll be the very first to admit this is a HARD one. I feel like my phone has become my sidekick almost LOL. I do everything with it. With my phone, I answer emails, connect with many of you via social media, update my blog, keep up with friends, and family, and even read articles. Although we love our phones, we can also probably agree that phones suck a LOT of energy. Every day when I start feeling overwhelmed, I take a short break from all things technology, and it energizes me so much mentally.

My gym bag has many tools that help re-energize me during the day. My headphones for some good music, a V8 V-Fusion can, and gym clothes for impromptu work-outs, or quick gym visits.

Listen to Energizing Music 

I blast energizing beats in my car all the time and they are a great mood, and energy booster. I also make sure to take headphones with me pretty much everywhere I go. Music, especially when it’s upbeat, makes me want to dance. It instantly makes me feel refreshed, and woken up. Totally recommend it!

    The way I re-energize is by taking cat naps whenever I can. You have great ideas too. Need to check out V8.

    I do a lot of the same things you do. Another trick is that I have a mid-morning snack to take the edge off between breakfast and lunch- usually a granola bar or protein bar, or some nuts. I do the same between lunch and dinner. When I’m hungry, my energy dips fast, so a little healthy snacking helps. 🙂
