Little Lace Box August, for me, was one of their most anticipated editions. Since the Elizabeth & Mr.Darcy theme was announced back in June, I’ve been so curious to figure out how the ladies of LLB would interpret my beloved characters of the Jane Austen masterpiece. Throughout the two months, they’ve given clues of the included items on the Little Lace Box Facebook page, but I must say I couldn’t quite figure out the exact contents. I actually like that as I LOVE to be surprised. <3

Before I show you the pretties and give you all the details, make sure to read all my previous Little Lace Box reviews.  You’ll find information on how the subscription works, the really cool designers Little Lace Box discovers and why I love this box so much.

OCTOBER SPOILER!!! October Little Lace Box theme is Authentic Autumn- Be Your Authentic Self.  It sounds like it’s about expressing yourself through fashion and style. October items will allow us to get creative, and show our authentic selves. You can use DISCOUNTCODE: TBQ10 with this link to get $10 off of 6m/annual subscriptions.

So Why DO I love Little Lace Box so much? The answer is simple. Little Lace Box makes me remember life’s beauties, the things that I don’t even remember to treat myself to in the midst my everyday rush. Little Lace Box enables me to stop and enjoy a new discovery I may otherwise never thought that I needed. Every time tough, it seems like these items turn out to be EXACTLY what I need to stop and smell the roses – figuratively and literally.

Which brings me to the first item of August Little Lace Box!

A Bouquet of Flowers from The ($40)

I said I’ll smell roses because I will. 🙂 Little Lace Box partnered with a new online floral company so we can receive a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. How VERY Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy of them right? I absolutely adore how they interpreted the theme of August with this first item.

We’ll get a code in our inbox in a couple days which we’ll use to get our free bouquet including shipping. I’ve already got my eye on beautiful red & orange roses. The company has stunning flowers, in beautiful combinations. This type of discovery is exactly what I mentioned Little Lace Box excels at.

The Elizabeth & Mr.Darcy Flower Vase ($124 including shipping from The UK)

What comes after flowers in an Elizabeth & Mr.Darcy theme? You guessed it right! A whimsical, artistic, cute as a button vase handcrafted by an artist from England, exclusively for LLB. Isn’t the attention to detail amazing? We get English novelist inspired Little Lace Box theme which includes a design from English ceramic artist in the name of Mary Rose Young.

I loved reading that her artwork can be found in cottages, and castles all over Europe. The two roses on the vase represent Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy and Wedgewood was typical of Georgian Period. I immediately filled my vase with flowers my 5 year old picked from our garden.

DefineMe Perfume Oil Fragrance ($36)

In the letter included with our August Little Lace Box, the sisters explain that DefineMe fragrances, created by Jennifer McKay, are inspired by a new generation of women who are breaking molds, and crushing barriers just like Elizabeth Bennet did in her era. I of course love that explanation but love it even more that I received “Clara” which smells so delicate and floral.

The DefineMe Website says “Clara attracts abundance by being grateful for the good in her life. I can relate to that, and can’t stop using the fragrance oil since I received it.

My Shea-Rona Shea Butter ($19.99)

The 4th item from the box is an all natural 30% Shea Butter body butter. ( more than usual amount as Shea Butter is a great source of Vitamin A) As it is more concentrated I think a small amount goes a long way. Combining this with June’s Sugar Scrub may result in ridiculously soft skin. <3

Little Lace Box tied this body butter to our theme by mentioning how Elizabeth smoothed over Mr.Darcy’s rough edges. Smart and oh so very true!

IMG_0232Overall Impressions: The August Little Lace Box is such a wonderful example of why I am in love with this subscription and why I wait for our mail carrier every other month. It has a super well-thought out theme with attention to detail, and high quality items that are true treats. This month’s value is UNBELIEVABLE as well at $219.99. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
