Today I am continuing my dressing room series, Go Shopping with TheBoxQueen, with Best of Fall Style At Loft. You’ll see my favorite styles of the store and how I match the pieces in outfits. First up is my picks compiled as always, and then you’ll see the outfits on me.
Before I start talking about my Fall 2015 Loft Favorites , you can find my other editions of Go Shopping With TheBoxQueen series here. This series have quickly become one I most enjoy putting together. I like the “real life”, genuine feel of going into a dressing room, and just sharing what catches my eye. <3
GO SHOPPING WITH THEBOXQUEEN – BEST OF FALL STYLE AT LOFT
Check out all the above items; they are my Loft favorites of the moment. I’ve seen each in person and you’ll see them all on me below which will hopefully be helpful. For your reference I am 5 4′ to 5 5′. I’ll mention which styles I needed to cuff or would need to hem.
First of all the Moto Skinny Ankle Corduroys, along with the Skinny Corduroy’s I’ll show you below, are the stars of this shopping trip for me. They are those pants you’ll wear a zillion times, and they’ll become staples of your fall/winter wardrobe. I needed to cuff these inside about two inches.
The best thing about the Greyscale Flare Dress is the thickness of the fabric I think. Sometimes I find myself feeling chilly in dresses during late fall but I think this one would feel okay under a cardigan or a jacket. I felt warm in it even under air conditioner.
The flare fit is very forgiving but hugs at the right places. If you are looking for a weekend dress, or a dress you can spend the day in and dress up for the evening, this is a good choice.
This is probably the most comfortable and coziest of all the outfits. I already own the Sweatshirt Tee in two available colors ( including this one), and bought the Skinny Corduroy Pants in crystal mauve color (shown above) on this trip to Loft. I’ll probably need to hem the pants as I cuffed them 2 inches to the inside here.
I think Autumn Blossom Refined Joggers are how all Joggers should be. They have some structure but also a lot of give. I personally think they feel more like pants but super relaxed ones. It’s a bonus that I didn’t need to cuff them. I thought the Shirttail Sweater in deep sea teal matches nicely with it. ( I tucked in mine here)
I couldn’t find this vest/poncho online. Loft adds items periodically so maybe it’ll be added soon. In the store I thought it had a very unique style. The originality of the fabric and knitting made me notice it.
When I put it on I must say I felt a bit swallowed in it. From the front it looks better, but on the sides there was a LOT of excess fabric. Still like the idea of it tough.
At my Loft trip, I also tried on these skinny jeans in a dark wash perfect for fall. I already had/have these at home. I feel like I can never get enough skinny jeans. This is a great basic style you can wear with anything. It looks especially cute with tunic sweaters and booties.
The moment I stepped in the store this faux leather skirt caught my eye. It’s pretty tight fit but I love the look with the red shirt, and spiky heels. The small slit on the side is lovely and not too high which I like. You could also wear this skirt with chunky sweaters and booties for a modern outfit. LOVE!
Have you purchased Loft’s Utility Shirts? They are so easy to wear, and come in a variety of colors. I like this gorgeous red.
Have you shopped at Loft lately? Which styles are your favorites? What’s your go to everyday piece nowadays? Looking forward to chat with you ladies. <3
