Ladies it’s Halloween after just three days. I think it goes without saying that Halloween is one of the most fun holidays that is celebrated in the US. My whole family loves choosing costumes, decorating, and of course trick or treating. For us, the whole October is spent talking about our Halloween night plans.
This Halloween, per usual, we’ll go trick or treating at our neighborhood Village Center Party, and will come back to our house to celebrate with guests over dinner. Today I’ll show you How to Set Up a Fun & Easy Halloween Table for the younger ones at your party. 🙂
This year, as the years before, I’ll have kids at our dinner party including my three. The costumes are chosen and ready. We’ll have a Golden Power Ranger, a Witch, and Minnie Mouse in our midst on Saturday evening 🙂 I plan to do cat women make-up and wear cat ears. I can’t wait. <3
When we come back home, I always like to have a separate kids Halloween spread with drinks appropriate for them and candy of course. Here is How I put together a Kids Table for the special night.
This is what the final table looks like. Fun & Easy. First let’s start with the drink I make for the kids. They love it.
I chose color orange for the kid’s Halloween drink for obvious reasons. I serve it in jars with a straw to make it a bit more appealing and special for them.
Here is How to Make My Halloween Kids Drink
- Start with Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water. The kids love the bubbles this classic adds to any drink mix. I love it on it’s own as well. I chose my Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water in Mandarin Orange.
- Fill 1/4 of a big jar, similar to the one I have below on the table, with Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water in Mandarin Orange. Add homemade lemonade and fill it to the half of the jar. Fill the other half of your jar with fresh squeezed orange juice. Mix with a spoon.
- Add a table spoon of sugar to the mix and stir again to make sure it is well mixed.
- Slice an orange and add 4-5 slices to each jar you serve to the kids. This is mostly for their enjoyment. I’ve always gotten great feedback from mine when I make the drinks look pretty. 🙂
You can find the Canadian Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water here. The rest is easily available too as they’ll be homemade. Hope your kids enjoy it as much as mine do. 🙂
I decorate my kids Halloween Table with big pumpkins. The glitter one is a favorite with most. 🙂 I put together a big plate with Halloween potpourri. These have the most wonderful fall scent laced with cinnamon.
I use a Trick or Treat plate and fill it with individual candy wrappers and candy.
It’s always a great idea to include crafts that are related to the holiday celebrated. For Halloween I’ll have the kids make spiders, bats, or owls.
Get the 12 can pack of Canadian Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water in your favorite flavor at your local Kroger or Kroger Banner store. Here is the aisle from my store where Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer water is located.
What are your Halloween plans? What do you serve the kids at your parties? I would love to hear the details.
