Stitch Fix #31 came on a very rainy Pacific NW day and immediately brought sunshine to the rest of my afternoon. That is exactly how Stitch Fix days feel like to me. I love that my Stitch Fix packages bring a very welcome thrill and excitement to even the days that don’t start off great.
Each time I can barely tear apart the packaging to see the colors I got my pieces in. ( I of course immediately spoil myself when I get the “Your Stitch Fix shipped email and go to my
account to see the items coming my way 🙂 )

I call this Stitch Fix “November” review as it is November in just a couple of days. It feels more like an early Nov. SF to me. I received a dress, a pair of pants, a jacket, a sweater, and a cardigan. My lovely stylist once again did not fail to impress me with the depth of her selection and variety of the items included.
Come on ladies, let’s start the Nov. Stitch Fix styling. Under the pictures you’ll find the outfit details and my style tips as always. I’ll also explain why I kept or sent back each item.
Stitch Fix styled the Fate Faux Suede Fringe Jacket with jeans and over a dress. I would wear both options in my daily life. I chose to pair mine with my favorite ripped denim.
Fate Kayden Faux Suede Fringe Jacket ($84)
The faux suede fringe jacket is pretty amazing. It has a nice fit, is well made, and the color is very easy to match with a variety of others colors. I also like that the fringe detail is just the right amount. I like fringe in small doses as too much of it may feel a bit too boho. (not that I don’t like boho; I prefer boho chic 🙂 ) This jacket is a beautiful representation of the fringe trend.
Style Tip: You can pretty much throw the fringe jacket over any outfit and it would elevate your look. Here I chose to pair it with these jeans I recently bought. (and told you about here.) Btw they are an amazing deal at 45% off, jump on them if you need destroyed skinnies.
This outfit could also be named “Guess Which Item is from Stitch Fix?”. The jacket, top ( a previous keeper), and bag are all Stitch Fix. I kept the items in the beige, green color family. This look would keep you chic but still casual for a relaxed week or weekend day.
Jacket: SF/Fate (Exact one here) | Jeans: TopShop (On Sale) | Top: Stitch Fix (previous keeper) | Bag: Stitch Fix ( see in this review) | Boots: Dolce Vita (Same brand option) | Jewelry: Wantable & Popbasic | Earrings: Kendra Scott (from this Rocksbox review)
STATUS: SENT BACK
My sending the Fate jacket back has a background story. When I received the jacket, I first found it at a deep discount online. I forwarded the info to Stitch Fix ( as they price match if you contact them shortly after you receive your Fix) however they could not honor that price as the item was sold out at that online store. I have to say tough, Stitch Fix customer service was super pleasant as always and gave me a satisfactory explanation.
I ended up sending the jacket back. After I packed everything, I found the same jacket here as well. ( only for $6 less this time) I definitely plan to purchase it with my reward notes soon.
This faux fur detailed cardigan is styled with pants for day and over a dress for night. I think both Stitch Fix outfits shown are pretty.
Skies Are Blue Winslow Faux Fur Collar Cardigan ($68)
The Winslow Faux Fur Cardigan was an item I pinned on my Stitch Fix Pinterest Board. ( I pin new Stitch Fix items & my outfits there regularly) I was intrigued by the marled cardigan and the faux fur collar.
Style Tip: I was drawn to pairing the cardigan with a knit sweater dress. I thought on a dry day the cardigan could act like a jacket over a warm dress. I added light colored boots and the flower crystal studs from my latest Rocksbox. ( Get a FREE MONTH of Rocksbox here with CODE: theboxqueenxoxo)
I tied the belt on the back as I liked the cardigan more as an open cardigan. If I wore it over tunics with leggings I could loosely tie the waist to add some waist definition.
STATUS: SENT BACK
Although I liked the cardigan and the shape of it, I decided to purchase this vest version of it soon instead. The vest feels a bit more modern and I do like faux fur. For some reason, on me, I felt like the cardigan version looked a bit old fashioned. I don’t know how else to describe it haha. I must say it is a beautiful piece and worth a try to request if you are looking for a faux fur detailed cardigan. You may like it on you.

I thought the Sweater and the Red Skinny Pants Stitch Fix sent my way looked like they were made for each other. I wore them together.
Staccato Ginia Layered Cowl Neck Sweater ($58) & Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant ($78)
The length of this sweater is so perfect to wear with skinny pants, jeans, and leggings. The fabric and the subtle design on it are lovely too. I also liked the flattering fit of the pants.
I thought this Kendra Scott necklace suited well to the classic style of the outfit.
Style Tip: As the top and bottom are classically casual, I thought I would add a bit of whimsy, and introduce some more color with a green bag (also from Stitch Fix) and these plaid pumps. ( Also see the pumps here and in October Stitch Fix Review) I chose this necklace from my latest Rocksbox and my most worn stud earrings from this Wantable review as my jewelry. I think they worked with the feel of this look.
STATUS- SWEATER- KEPT
I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this sweater that I kept. The color, fit, design, and length all make it the best casual piece. I already wore it three times in a week. Seriously! I am so happy that after a couple great sweaters I sent back in my previous boxes, I kept the one that is just right for me. 🙂

PANTS – SENT BACK
I did send the pants back as I already own two more pairs of red pants. (including this one I kept from Stitch Fix last winter) I thought it would be a bit silly to purchase a third.
I am happy I was introduced to the brand Liverpool tough, and I’ll look into other colors of their pants here. They sure know how to make them flattering and well fitted.
My stylist wrote that she thought this lace dress in burgundy would be a better fit with my style taste after I wasn’t sure about October’s Burgundy knit dress.
Skies Are Blue Kady Dress ($58)
Style Tip: This outfit was effortless to put together. I just added my fun plaid pumps and these Rocksbox keepers. Ta daaa I had a complete look. Exactly why dresses are so great for busy days.
STATUS- SENT BACK
I absolutely adore this dress. The only reason it is going back is it definitely felt loose on me. (although it is an XS) The style is already a looser style but the arms, shoulders, waist all made me feel like I was swimming in the dress. ( although I am not sure if that is obvious in the pictures LOL) Otherwise the lace fabric and the back detail were very me.
Dress: Stitch Fix | Pumps: Charles by Charles David | Jewelry: Rocksbox (see reviews here) –get your FREE MONTH with CODE:theboxqueenxoxo
I like the open back detail of the dress. It’s very me.
Overall Impressions: Once again I had the best time playing with my five Stitch Fix pieces. It is always a pleasure making outfits with my own clothes incorporating the items Stitch Fix sends. I also enjoy the decision making process and figuring out which piece(s) should live in my wardrobe. I obviously wholeheartedly recommend Stitch Fix. Try it at least once; and ( the service improves even more with repeats) experience it for yourself.
