I was shopping at LOFT the other day looking for sweaters. ( see my dressing room outfits and purchases here) It’s getting exceedingly rainy and cold over here in the PNW, and lately I find myself searching for really cozy, and warm pieces.

That day, I strictly had finding pretty, and original knits on my mind however when I came across this beautiful coat on sale I couldn’t help myself. I tried it on, and it was love at first
sight. I absolutely love the print, and the value is pretty amazing. But first, I want to show you all my picks of Best Coats Fall 2015, from some fave online stores. There are so many beautiful pieces with some really nice ones on sale.

After I came home with my new coat, I went on a mission to find my picks of best coats of this fall to share with you ladies. I think I’ve found some great options at many price points.

If you are looking for a patterned coat, besides my Leopard Jacquard ,which I believe has anunbelievable value and versatility, I really love this Blurred Plaid Stand Collar Coat also on sale. It has a distinct look, and the collar is very cool. This Yerse brand Coat is another favorite with it’s modern fit and easy to wear length.

There are so many great coat choices in solid colors. I love the soft pink on this double breasted boucle coat on sale. I simply adore this shorter peacoat style with contrast stiching. Something about it is so French chic to me exuding an effortless elegance. If you are looking for a more feminine option check out the bow detail on Amiable Invitee Coat . Such cuteness!

Although this coat was a spontaneous purchase, I think it filled a void in my fall wardrobe. I have other coats both long, and peacoat length in various solid colors, however I didn’t have  a similar patterned coat.

Style Tip: Lately I really like pairing colors together from the same color family. I wanted to use burgundy, red, and pale pink in the same look. I decided to keep my outfit casual elsewhere, with a white light sweater, and these ripped high waist jeans on sale now.  (which perfectly flatter a mommy tummy)

Adding an infinity scarf, such as this pale pink one, over V necks & round necks, is very practical as you can easily take it off when you get inside. This was a Sunday breakfast outfit. I chose to finish it off with my comfy beloved studded flats in red patent leather.

I wanted to accessorize with understated but special pieces. This ring I kept from Rocksbox has been on constant rotation since I got it. You can get your own FREE MONTH of Rocksbox subscription here with my CODE: theboxqueenxoxo . They send the best designer brands. My Wantable earrings have a hint of pink in them just like my scarf.

    • Theboxqueen

I know, I can’t believe December is right around the corner. Thanks dear! XOXO, Elif

  • I love coats with a little flair, like the patterned one or the bow one you picked up top! On an aside, I love your shoes too. 🙂

    Pumps and Push-Ups

    • Theboxqueen

Thanks Brooke. I am obsessed with those shoes myself haha. (and go figure they are flats- bonus points for the shoes as I usually don’t go for flats) Details really make the coats I agree. Have a wonderful Thursday dear. XOXO, Elif

  • Aylin

I love the coat the you are wearing. It was the first one that caught my eye and made me think that I need a coat with a pattern. And then I realized that you already bought it. I also like the plaid funnel one. All of my coats are solid colors and I suspect I might be developing a boring personality:)) And the funny thing I bought a new coat at Columbia yesterday and it is a solid color too!

    • Theboxqueen

Haha Aylin I think it’s more of a perceived versatility when it comes to choosing solid colors; I am sure it has nothing to do with your personality :-))) I think we usually think it’s difficult to pair patterns with our outfits however leopard prints, stripes, plaid became such classics that they are perfect for pattern mixing as well (and over solids of course) Enjoy your new Columbia coat, and keep your eyes open for a patterned one too 😉 Have a fab day lovely! XOXO, Elif

Great list of coats. My personal favorites are #2 and #5. I like the color scheme of 2 and the collar of 5. Your coat is really nice too. You look so cute in it.

    • Theboxqueen

Thanks so much! #5 is a personal fave of mine too. I also love the collar. The fabric looks so fuzzy and cozy too. Have great one today. XOXO, Elif

This is a nice concept for a monthly sub. I need to check it out. It feels like I am always in loungewear especially in the cold months.

  • Maryann

Gorgeous coats. I need to check them out now.:) Love the Burberry coat. Your leopard print is pretty and love that it is on sale.

    • Theboxqueen

I know right? The leopard I got is such a value. It’s a well made coat too. Of course the Burberry one is just beyond haha, such a classic 🙂 Let me know if you end up trying any of them. XOXO, Elif
