Today I am happy and excited to review the $149 enclothe Boutique Style Bundle. (the first three pieces) Let me give you a little bit of a background info. The boutique is owned and run by Gabrielle who was one of the first people I knew from Golden Tote Trading Group.
We kept in touch via instagram, my blog, and the Facebook group once in a while. (a fun fact I found out, we also live in the same city) I haven’t seen her around much on social this past year. I was pleasantly surprised when she contacted me to tell me about the online boutique & unique styling service she started. She asked me whether I would like to try it. My answer was of course an eager Yes. I knew we had similar style taste. This is Part One of my Review. Part Two will follow soon.
You can directly purchase pieces from enclothe boutique however they offer an amazing deal which is the Style Bundle I am reviewing here.
HERE IS HOW STYLE BUNDLE WORKS
- The best part of enclothe Style Bundle, and what sets it apart from other clothing services/ boxes, is that you get to choose each and every piece that’ll be included. (unless you get their mystery grab bag) I really enjoyed the whole process of choosing my picks.
- I received a $149 Bundle consisting of 6 pieces; 1 Premium piece, 1 Featured Piece, and 4 extra pieces each from a set of items. There are also $49, $99, $129, $169 bundles ; something for every budget, and wardrobe need.
- I appreciated the brands, and trendy, everyday casual styles. The options are varied, and there are new pieces added to Style Bundle often.
- You may return your entire Style Bundle for a refund within a 14 day return window.
- The Style Bundle comes in a wrapping like you can see above. I particularly liked the packaging. It reminded me of period movies where dressmakers wrap up beautiful dresses in paper and tie it with a bow. (Love my historical movies 🙂 ) There was a handwritten thank you card which was a lovely touch.
In my $149 enclothe Boutique Style Bundle, I picked a cardigan, a sweater vest, a tunic top with elbow patches & stripes, crochet sleeve top (which is the best thing ever!!!), a burgundy dress, and a blanket poncho. (See the blanket poncho in this post)
Here are the first three pieces along with my style tips. I’ll review the rest of the three pieces in a separate review & styling post.
Chunky Cocoon Cardigan – Premium
As my premium piece I chose this gorgeous Chunky Cocoon Cardigan. The style, the fabric, and the pattern are all spot on for me. The quality is definitely there too. I like the thickness of the fabric, it feels substantial.
Style Tip: These type of cardigans are lovely with leggings & skinny jeans and I also like them over fitted dresses. I chose a thicker legging and matched it with booties in the same color to have a flattering, lengthening effect on my legs. (This tip almost always works great for everyone, especially if you are 5 5 and under- I am 5 4 for reference)
As the cardigan is warm enough, I chose a swan printed sleeveless tunic to wear over the leggings. The fuzzy animal print infinity scarf adds more texture, and depth to the look. I also like the pattern mixing of the swans, leopard print, and the dotted cardigan.
Cardigan: Enclothe Boutique Style Bundle | Leggings: Very Similar Option | Scarf: BP Leopard Print | Top: Old – Nordstrom Rack | Clutch: Topshop (black version) | Booties: BP Ankle Bootie | Rings: Rocksbox (Get a FREE MONTH with my code:theboxqueenxoxo) & Little Lace Box
Accessories Style Tip: As the outfit is already made up of an almost all black/grey color scheme, I wanted to bring a bit of light with a large clutch that is a very similar color to the swans in my tunic. I think this brightens up the look, and becomes even more of a statement piece next to the all black/grey background. (same clutch in black)
The rings are from this Little Lace Box & Rocksbox. (Get a FREE MONTH of Rocksbox here with my CODE: theboxqueenxoxo )
The cardigan also has a very generous hood. I like that it doesn’t squeeze my hair, and is looser.
Crochet Sleeve Top – Select Four Pick
I chose enclothe Style Bundle Crochet Style Top as my second piece to style simply because I am totally IN LOVE with it. It is also one of the most versatile pieces that’s been added to my closet lately. If you’ve been reading TheBoxQueen for a while, you may know how I adore crochet, and lace details.
This top has beautiful crochet detail sleeves. Even better, it is made of a lightweight knit fabric, in a color that goes with everything. It’s that one piece you’ll wear under blazers, cardigans, jean/leather jackets, and of course on it’s own.
Style Tip: I wanted to show you ladies the beauty of this top worn on it’s own. This would be a lovely spring/warmer weather outfit. (In the NW weather I live in, I wore a faux leather jacket over after these pics 🙂 ) I chose relaxed, black ,destroyed denim to go with it. Pairing contrasting styles is definitely very me; I think casual outfits look more updated & modern this way. I really liked the feminine crochet detail with the trendier, and a bit more rugged jeans. (You could of course choose solid skinnies instead)
I once again added warmth, and texture with a scarf, this time with this chunky knit one. My plaid pumps added a bit of whimsy, and pattern, and the yellow bag brought a bit of color, and life to the look. I literally topped the outfit of with a deep green floppy hat. This color looks great with so many others. 🙂
Close-up of some of the details.
The chunky knit on the scarf adds such a nice texture to the solid colored top.
Top: Enclothe Boutique Style Bundle | Pants: Boyfriend Jeans sold out (another option) | Scarf: Chunky Infinity Scarf | Hat: Floppy Wool Hat | Bag: Stitch Fix Keeper (also find here) | Shoes: Charles by Charles David
Aztec Sweater Vest – Featured
Out of the featured Style Bundle items available when I was making my choices, this Aztec Sweater Vest grabbed my attention immediately. The Soutwest inspired patterns are still very much in style, and I enjoy vests that drape over my skinny jeans and leggings.
Style Tip: I wore the Aztec Sweater Vest over the enclothe Style Bundle Crochet Top seen in the second outfit (I told you ladies it was versatile) with these skinny jeans that are a recent purchase (40% off for a limited time. I collect these in any color I can find) Grey suede boots worn over the denim added the much needed height.
The most important style tip I can offer you ladies is that I think this type of vests, and poncho cardigans look much better, on almost everyone, with heels. The added height balances the bit of extra bulk that looks “oh so stylish” but also is a bit tricky.
Top: Enclothe Style Bundle | Vest: Enclothe Style Bundle | Jeans: Loft | Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs | Boots: Colehaan Old (Gorgeous Suede Option) | Necklace: Kendra Scott
Love this classic Kendra Scott necklace that also is a very versatile accessory.
Overall Impressions: My first enclothe Boutique Style Bundle experience has definitely been a success. I think with such a system, there is a lesser chance you would be unsatisfied as you pick the pieces yourself. The customer service, and the quality of items both rocked in my first Style Bundle.
