I can’t believe today is the 31st of December. I know it’s a cliche, however 2015 really felt like a whirlwind to me. It went by way too fast, had a lot of memorable times for me in my private life, and on the blog.  Happy New Year to All of You Lovely Ladies. I wish you a wonderful 2016, full of everything you dream of. I hope to see you here on TheBoxQueen in a sparkling new year. <3

The Little Lace Box Review December 2015 marks the end of 2015 perfectly as it was their highly anticipated holiday box.

Little Lace Box ladies also has a knack for creating their boxes around themes. This month’s theme was one of my personal favorites; The Little Prince. Growing up, I lost count of how many times I read the super charming, and symbolic book.

Before I move on to the contents of December Little Lace Box, and give you the details, you may want to check out my previous reviews of the subscription. You’ll find all the information you need on how Little Lace Box works, and see the type of items they send.

In the December Little Lace Box, I found a new eye serum, a trendy, and chic fingerless glove, a gorgeous pendant pearl necklace, two candles, a luggage tag with a cute graphic and a pretty frame. Let’s see everything up close.

Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum: Passport To Beauty $88

Although there is not one piece I don’t like in the December Little Lace Box, the Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum is what excited me the most. It’s a high value item that is perfect for pampering. The Goji Berry is a super food and is supposed to fight free radicals and provide essential vitamins, and minerals to the eye area. I can’t wait to use it and see the results.

How It Relates To Little Prince: This is an eye serum from another country and The Little Prince was a Traveler/Explorer.

Shiraleah Wool Blend Fingerless Gloves $15

I’ve always loved, and had Fingerless Gloves, even before they became so trendy. It’s so fun to have warmth around your hands while having your manicure still show haha. These chunky ones are perfect, and the button detail is so cool, and very stylish.

How It Relates To Little Prince: Lamplighters typically wore fingerless gloves. (a character from the story)

Pre De Provence Lumiere Fragrant Candle $20

I love Pre De Provence brand, and buy their soaps all the time. This candle is as pretty as it smells. It comes in a vintage mercury glass and burns 45 hours. I received Verbena scent version.

How It Relates To Little Prince: This candle “light” also relates to the Lamplighter character in the Little Prince story who lights his street lamp as if he brought another star to life.

Large Freshwater Pearl Pendant Necklace by Kristin Pearce Designs $50

How elegant, and classic is this freshwater pearl pendant necklace? It’s that piece of jewelry that will go with any type of clothing, and one that you can keep for years.

How It Relates To Little Prince: The pearl necklace represents the desert the narrator and Little Prince were stranded on. It’s the place where their journey begins and where they discover the beauty around them.

French Decorative 4X6 Frame $10

I love French Decorative pieces scattered around my house. I was very pleasantly surprised to see this frame included, and plan to put our New Year Family Picture in it.

How It Relates To Little Prince: In Little Prince, drawings and pictures play an important role.  The author was also a French writer, and poet which relates to the frame.

BONUS: Travel Peppermint Candle $5 AND Luggage Tag R. Nichols $6

The Bonus pieces are the Travel candle and the Luggage Tag. I’ll take the candle with me on our trips, and the Tag is hanging from my sons Taekwondo Bag to identify it. He loved the cute tag. (and didn’t want to take it off for pictures 🙂 )

How They Relate To Little Prince: The luggage tag represents Little Prince’s love of exploration, and there’s a fox on the candle box which reminds us one of Little Prince’s most cherished friends.

Overall Impressions: The December 2015 Little Lace Box has a total value of $194!!! What’s better is that I’ll use each piece in the box, and find them to tie perfectly to the theme. This is a lovely Holiday Box, and it was a happy event to receive it.

Those gloves are very cool, I got asked about them at Starbucks twice a couple days ago haha. Hope you are having a great Saturday. XOXO, Elif

  • Sibel Gultekin

All of the pieces are wonderful items to fit the “Little Prince” theme. Candles are always a wonderful edition to a gift basket. My daughter also has a similar pair of gloves, they never go out of style.
