Ladies, 2016’s first Serendipity by Little Lace Box arrived, and as always it’s a super cute, and diverse package. Before I start my review tough, I HAVE to tell you about this AMAZING Little Lace Box Promotion that is live now (for the main box), and for a very limited time until it’s sold out.

Little Lace Box is giving all new subscribers a FREE Restoration Hardware Faux Fur Throw worth a whopping $99. I don’t know about you ladies but I absolutely love that store, and these faux fur throws are simply fabulous!! (and the throws ship immediately)

ALSO on sale are the six months of Little Lace Box which is $134.99 instead of $149.99 AND  a single box of Little Lace Box is on sale for $49.99 instead of $59.99. Definitely the right time to try my new favorite lifestyle subscription.  Find the full April Little Lace Box spoilers at the end of the post.

If you are new to TheBoxQueen, or new to my Little Lace Box & Serendipity Reviews, you can find all the previous months here. You’ll find detailed info on how the subscriptions work, and all the pieces they’ve sent so far. In one quick sentence, Serendipity is a package of goodies that are not designed around a theme but rather a mix of little treasures the ladies of LLB found.

In January Serendipity, we received a full size hand wash, a full size my cup of cake, a nail product, a beautifully illustrated card, and a specially made for Little Lace Box mug. Let’s see it all ladies.

FULL SIZE- Doxen & Hue Hand Wash ($11.95)

My 16 ounce bottle of hand wash is the French Cade Lavender version. I am very happy to receive this fragrance combination as I am a big fan of lavender products in my bathroom. This product has a luxurious feel, left my hands soft, and smelling beautiful. Love.

Full Size – My Cup of Cake ($6.95)

I first received My Cup of Cake in a different subscription box recently, and my whole family took an unforgettable bite of the cake in a cup you make under 3 minutes, in a regular mug. It is also amazing to eat with ice cream. It doesn’t have artificial ingredients, preservatives, trans fats or fructose corn syrup – nothing artificial. I was thrilled to receive it again in Serendipity.

Full Size – Ellison Organics Mani Defender ($6.75)

One of the best parts of getting subscription boxes for me is being introduced to new to me brands, and products. This is the first time I am introduced to Ellison Organics which develops products safe for you and your family.

Mani Defender, an ammonia free product, is also new to me and it is liquid latex. You paint it around your nails, and apply your nail art or stamping. Any excess polish will easily peel off with the liquid latex.

13 oz. Enamelware Ceramic Coffee Mug ($14.95)

Little Lace Box ladies decided to give us a mug to eat that delicious cake in. They wanted to give it a vintage look like the old enamelware tin cups you can see in Downton Abbey. The best part is that its dishwasher, and microwave safe, and is designed to keep your drink hotter longer. I drank my first cup of tea in it, and I can say that that claim worked for me.

Hilda Glasgow Single Notecard ($5.95)

The card is one of the seven illustrations we could get from Hilda Glasgow who was one of the top fashion illustrators from 1940’s to 1960’s. Her daughter Liz Glasgow is sharing them with the world again in limited edition reproductions. The card I got has such an elegant illustration that I thought of collecting a couple more of these and framing them together.

Overall Impressions:  Serendipity by Little Lace Box January 2016 was a super cute package of a variety of items. For the price of $9.99 a box, the value is exceptional, and the mix, and surprise of the pieces are more than worth the wait. A gem of a box I adore.

“Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch”

We love Broadway musicals, and March and April mark the “unofficial” start of the new season on Broadway, so we couldn’t think of a better time to highlight Broadway and New York, than in our April box. New York is a magnificent city, home to amazing food, iconic landmarks, stunning fashion and a remarkable spirit. It’s also home to many undiscovered artisans and designers. Which is perfect for us!

Even if you live in New York, we think you’ll love what we put together.

Little Lace Box Subscription will begin with our April box, shipping on April 20th.

When placing your order, please provide your top three fur color choices in the “order notes.” We will make every attempt to ship your preferred choice.

Ladies look at these beauties? Which color will you request with your subscription? Are you taking advantage of this amazing promotion?

If you are not ready for a full annual subscription, the 6 month subscription, and Single Box Subscriptions are also on SALE for a limited time.

  • What a great subscription! The My Cup of Cake mix looks yummy!

    • Theboxqueen

It’s the best cake, and it is SO rich so eating it becomes some kind of a family affair around here haha. Serendipity is a really cute box. XOXO, Elif

  • Sibel Gultekin

I love lavender scented soap. The cake looks delicious. Is the taste similar to that of a souffle? How did you cook it?

    • Theboxqueen

Yes it does taste somewhat like a soufflé, especially eaten with vanilla ice cream which reminds me of the white sauce. 🙂 I think you would love this cake Sibel. And yes lavender is the best, the scent of the soap is so lovely. XOXO, Elif
