Today is the official first day of spring, although looking out of my window here in the NW would suggest otherwise; it’s raining pretty heavily. Seems like the weather has been a hit and miss lately in my town; but one thing I consistently have on mind is spring/summer clothes.
The past couple weeks, it’s like a switch has been turned on in my mind haha; can’t stop thinking of beachwear, shorts, sandals, and pretty dresses. This spring break, we are staying home, and I just picked up my two older kids from basketball camp. I actually watched them for three hours and cheered on. Now at home, I am very ready for a little break showing you ladies what I received in my Wantable Style Edit March 2016 box.
I’ve been reviewing Wantable Boxes for a long while, and you can read my reviews on all types of Wantable boxes here. You’ll find all the details on how various Wantable subscriptions work, as well as see many pieces they send in each.

In March Wantable Style Edit, I received two tops, a lightweight sweater, a gorgeous asymmetrical jacket, and a pair of crop skinnies. Let’s take a look at each. Under the photos you’ll also find my full outfit details, style tips, and how to recreate each outfit labeled Shop The Post. (with clickable pics)
BB Dakota Bradford Jacket ($105)
This jacket reminded me one of the jackets I kept from Stitch Fix. (From this review) I also recently bought this faux leather jacket in green and this burgundy one. Needless to say, I love the leather look, and wear the style so much with skinny jeans, and pumps.
If you don’t own a staple piece like this faux leather jacket in versatile beige, I highly recommend the BB Dakota version. It’s well made, has a great fit, and I love the unique asymmetrical neckline.
STATUS – SENT BACK (because I acquired 3 + faux leather jackets that I adore 🙂 )
DEX Madisson Crop Vintage ($69)
The second piece I got in March Wantable Style Edit is the olive skinny pants. These are crops which I prefer as I don’t need to have them altered, or have to use them cuffed. I am such a fan of skinnies that I have them almost in every color. I actually very recently bought these AG green crops in a slightly more vibrant green, and adore them.
Style Tip: I thought the BB Dakota jacket, and the olive skinnies paired together so effortlessly. I wanted to add a bit of cheerful color to the neutral main pieces, and layered with this fuchsia tank, and these hot pink drop earrings. You may know by now that I love prints, and I added a bit of a pattern with my favorite leopard pumps.
STATUS – SENT BACK (as I already have an identical pair)
This pretty necklace came in my latest Rocksbox. I really liked the layered necklace look, and appreciated the pink stone worn along with the other pinks of this outfit. You can get a FREE MONTH of Rocksbox here with CODE: theboxqueenxoxo .

JOA V Neck Contrast Sweater ($45)
I really liked the JOA V Neck Sweater. It’s very lightweight, perfect for cooler spring days like we have here in the NW. I also like that the neckline is loose enough to be worn as off the shoulder if you like that look. ( I definitely do!)
Style Tip: I love navy, and grey together, and the cool vibe of the sweater matched with the edginess of the ripped jeans. I wanted to balance the look with some girly elements, and added this beautiful clutch that is on sale for just $22 ( Get it if you are looking for a patterned clutch ladies. It is even more gorgeous in person. ), and burgundy pumps.
STATUS – UNDECIDED
I am undecided on this V neck. I think it is a great style match for me. On the other hand, I bought this V neck when it went on sale. Do I need two V necks in the same color? Trying to decide.

Olive & Oak Stripe Swing Top ($45)
The striped swing top reminds me of Puella tops I got from previous Golden Totes. (sign up here for free Golden Tote Newsletter for tote sale day news) It’s as soft, and comfy too. Just a great staple piece.
Style Tip: You can pretty much wear this striped top with anything; it would work with jeans, skirts, and shorts. I wore the Olive & Oak top with Topshop moto jeans, and my new fringed booties. I felt super comfortable in the outfit, and felt like I could wear the top every day.
STATUS – UNDECIDED
This is the second piece I was undecided on. On one hand I loved the ease of the striped top. On the other hand, like I mentioned, I do own various swingy stripe tops.
Top: Olive & Oak | Jeans: TOPSHOP | Shoes: Coconuts by Matisse Booties | Bag: Stitch Fix (From This Review) | Sunglasses: LANVIN via Endless Eyewear (Get a FREE MONTH here with CODE: THEBOXQUEEN )

RD Style Space Dye Split Back Tank ($55)
Style Tip: The final piece was this pinkish split back tank. This top reminded me the split back sweater I got in the January Wantable Style Edit box. I wore it with the same distressed jeans from the second outfit, and added fun, and movement with the multi color, lace up heels. ( These heels are sold out but see this option, and this pretty one from this season)
The split back started from way up high on the tank, and went all the way down the top. It was a bit too much for me so I gathered it together, and tucked it loosely in my jeans. I like this split back tank much more; I feel like it is much more wearable.
STATUS – SENT BACK ( I felt uncomfortable with the huge slit on the back; was a bit too much for me.)

Overall Impressions: Regardless of how many pieces I’ll end up keeping, (for various reasons I explained above) I think this was one of the best Wantable Style Edits I received so far. (in the sense that the majority of the items I got were very wearable, and matched my style profile.) I also liked the brands included. Even the fact that I own many of the similar styles already, shows Wantable Style Edit improved quite a bit in matching me with pieces that suit me.
