Hi lovelies! I am writing to you on a once again RAINY NW day, after so many gorgeous sunny days in a row. It would be an understatement to say the weather has been moody but the packages I received from Elizabeth & Clarke sure boosted mine. <3 The company kindly sent me The James & The Grant, two beautifully designed pieces from the brands newest venture, Unstainable WorkWear Collection that is on KickStarter right now.
If you are new to TheBoxQueen, and curious about Elizabeth & Clarke’s affordable, high quality shirts, and casual unstainable pieces, make sure to start your reading from the Elizabeth &Clarke Review section. If you would like to know more on how the Unstainable Fabric works, see the information section here, as well as my Unstainable Tee post.
I received the Unstainable Blazer, The Grant in red, and the Unstainable Dress The James in a chic white. The designs, which you’ll see for yourself below, are amazing. Here is a quote from the company founder Melanie on the collection:
“After we raised $250,000 on Kickstarter for our Unstainable® Shirt campaign, and successfully delivered 3,000 orders on time, we knew that this idea of functional, beautiful, and affordable shirting really resonated with women all over the world. From there, it was a natural extension to suiting.”
Ready to see how I styled the pretties?
This little red blazer in the unstainable fabric was, right out of the box, pretty impressive with its unique cut, and the obvious attention to detail. I love that the fabric feels substantial, and well made. The vegan leather patches on the shoulders, the asymmetrical shape, and the v cuts on the arms all add to the charm of the jacket.
Style Tip: I work from home, not at a traditional office. I think this red blazer would look gorgeous with a pencil skirt for the office. My first instinct tough was to pair this beauty with these super flattering pair of jeans I am keeping from my latest Trunk Club box. (Review to follow very soon.)
Ladies these tanks I ordered ( and showed you in this dressing room version of Best of Nordstrom May) are such great summer basics. I’ve collected the top in a couple colors already. I tucked the tank in the front, and left it untucked on the back. The cobalt heels, and this new Rebecca Minkoff bag I am also keeping from the latest Trunk Club completed the outfit.
I love the jacket both zipped, and unzipped.

The back of the jacket is cut shorter.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE The James. It is so my style in every way possible. I know that it would be a classy work dress, to me it is also a perfect play dress. 🙂 I can imagine myself wearing this piece on a ton of different occasions. I adore the intricate design, the very flattering fit, and once again the quality.
The James even has pockets. Bonus points! 🙂

Style Tip: This dress is definitely “wear and go” on its own; it’s such a statement piece. I wanted to keep all the accessories neutral, and paired the James with high heel, neutral sandals, and my lace up Stella & Dot shoulder bag.
The white printed bangle bracelet, and drop earrings in gold & white from Wantable completed the look.
