Ladies, have you ordered Wantable Style Edit recently? I order their style box at least every couple months (sometimes even more than that) and of course I had to get one for beginning of fall. I was hoping for layers, sweaters, and bold, rich colors. My Wantable stylist delivered all that, though you may be surprised at what I ended up keeping. 🙂
You’ll find how Wantable Style Edit works, and my Wantable highlights below. Also make sure to check under the photos for outfit details, my style tips, and clickable visuals on how to recreate each look.
UPDATE!!! For a limited time (November 21- November 28) your Style Edit Fee is WAIVED!!!! Use this link to try Wantable Style Edit completely commitment free.
If you’ve been reading TheBoxQueen for a while you may know I’ve been a Wantable subscriber for a very long time- pretty much since they’ve first started the company. Wantable also has accessories, make-up, fitness, and intimates boxes available you can subscribe to or try for a single box. Find all my reviews in the Wantable category here.
HOW WANTABLE STYLE EDIT WORKS
- Similar to Fitness Edit (which I initially reviewed here) Style Edit also lets you try the items picked for you before you buy. You get 5 or more pieces picked for you by your stylist based on your style profile, and you can keep them for 5 days to try with your own clothes.
- The styling fee is $20 and fully credited towards your purchases. You can keep or send back any or all of the pieces with the enclosed prepaid envelope. If you keep 5 or more items you get 20% off.
- Although Style Edit is a subscription service, you can skip a month or months anytime. Essentially, you have the option to try a single box this way.
- Currently Style Edit is only available to 50 US States.
- You’re only billed for what you keep, and Wantable includes a return label to make it easy and convenient.
You can fill out your style profile from the “Let’s Get Started ” section anytime and when you are done you can decide to order a Style Edit immediately or later. Filling out these style surveys is half the fun for me. They have so much detail that sometimes I even end up discovering what I really like at the moment.
WANTABLE REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS
In September Style Edit, I received seven pieces. Six of them you’ll see styled below.
I also received this plaid shirt that you won’t see here. I featured many plaid shirts, including this one recently, and this one from my last Wantable Style Edit. Honestly I also did not have much time left from my try on days to take photos for one more look . It was a super cute plaid shirt.
DEX LONG SLEEVE SWEATER DRESS ($89)
Style Tip: The first piece out of my September Wantable Style Edit was this gorgeous long sleeve sweater dress. (very similar dress here) I love that it has a very subtle striped design, and the green/brown tones are very fall.
The dress has a tight fitting shape so I chose accessories that are special without being too flashy. I’ve always loved leopard pumps as neutrals (identical pumps here) and wore mine to add pattern. I also added my fringe clutch (keeper from this Stitch Fix Review) to make the outfit a bit more playful. (another pretty fringe clutch here)

I did love this dress. It has a very feminine silhouette, and a beautiful knit fabric. I have this dress from Nordstrom, and I like that mine fits slim but not as tightly. I also prefer a V neck neckline.

BB DAKOTA CARMEN FAUX LEATHER JACKET ($105) + DEX SYDNEY SUPER SKINNY HIGH RISE JEANS ($69) + MATTY M FRONT TIE TOP ($80)
Style Tip: This outfit is my favorite of the bunch, and is very me in terms of what I wear on a daily basis. I love to layer with cute tops, and unique jackets. I wear skinny jeans with pumps all the time as well. The deep burgundy, and green of these pieces are stunning; especially worn together.
I found the exact jacket here. It has such a similar style, and fit to a jacket I already own; Kut from the Kloth drape jacket. The outfit needed some excitement factor which made me choose this intricate, embellished statement clutch. My Rocksbox earrings are small but have such a powerful, attention grabbing stone in emerald green. I loved them with this look. (Get a FREE MONTH of Rocksbox here with CODE: theboxqueenxoxo)
Drape Jacket Status – Sent Back
I adore this jacket. I just had something so similar, (and many other vegan leather pieces in various colors) that I could not justify the purchase.
Skinny Jeans Status – Sent Back
These jeans fit great. Like I mentioned above, I wear skinnies all the time. I buy them independently and keep them from style boxes too. I think last time I counted, I had at least four pairs in this dark denim. The Dex pair went back although I really liked the fit. (Another dark denim choice here.)

Status Top – Sent Back
What a pretty top this burgundy piece is. I did consider keeping it. At the end, I was not sure if it was worth $80. I have a lot of similar, and well made tops at home. I also found this option from Free People that I may look into if I want a burgundy top for layering.

VELVET HEART ROSA CHAMBRAY DRESS (ON SALE $69)
Style Tip: This dress and I had an instant connection the moment I put it on. (also love this option) I love chambray, and the classic shape of this dress actually felt so modern worn, especially with its pockets. This wardrobe staple needed some color and I added that with peep toe red booties. I completed my outfit with a patterned bag; this sold out one from Rebecca Minkoff.
Status – Kept
I know, I know I’ve been talking about building my fall wardrobe for weeks. 🙂 What can I say? Sometimes there comes a piece you just can’t pass up, and this dress was that for me. I convinced myself a bit too, thinking I can also layer the dress with leggings, and a cardigan for chilly weather. So happy with my choice! <3

BB DAKOTA TALLY CHENILLE SWEATER ($90)
Style Tip: The last item in my September Style Edit was this Chenille sweater by BB Dakota. It had such a laid back feel that I had to pair it with my ripped boyfriend jeans. (similar option) The fringe booties I love continue the same relaxed style. This Kendra Scott necklace goes with everything, and especially dresses up casual outfits.
Status – Sent Back
I ended up sending back this sweater as I have a Trunk Club (Reviews here) on the way with pretty much 90% full of sweater options. I wanted to take a look at those before I purchased any basic sweater style.

Overall Impressions: This was a wonderful “beginning of fall” Style Edit. I ended up keeping a fabulous sleeveless dress, and I liked each and every piece that came in my box.
