Since I started receiving Elizabeth & Clarke collections about 2,5 years ago, I always look forward to the carefully curated box of gorgeous shirts arriving each season. It’s a pleasure to be back with Elizabeth & Clarke Review Fall 2016.

As always, you can find how you can recreate the looks under the photos along with my style tips & the outfit details. I hope you’ll get some outfit ideas, and inspiration. <3
If you’ve been around TheBoxQueen for a while, you may remember from my previous reviews how impressed I am with Elizabeth & Clarke’s shirts. If you are new, first of all a warm welcome, and you may want to read all the reviews here to see every piece I received from the brand so far. You’ll also find detailed information on how the subscription works.
In Elizabeth & Clarke’s fall collection I received The Chambers, The McCord, and The Branwell.
I think the one of the biggest strengths of Elizabeth & Clarke is their ability to design high quality, luxury brand type pieces at affordable prices. I also find their fabrics to be lovely, so easy to wear, soft, and carefully chosen. The styles are basics elevated to something special, with little details like the scalloped neck of the Chambers, elbow patches of the Branwell, and leather vegan panels of the McCord.

Style Tip: The McCord is a great long sleeve grey shirt with cool vegan leather panels on the shoulders. This is just the type of piece I love; super easy to dress up, but just as easy to style casually.
I’ve been loving pairing greys and blues together. This pleated skirt in tones of navy is a recent purchase that I couldn’t wait to share. I love how the pleats look modern with a crinkled style, and the waist band is so flattering giving definition to the body balancing proportions.
The grey suede high heels, an embroidered fun clutch (great alternative!) that brought in tones of the color red, and the yellow toned jewelry completed the look, and made it less serious, more cheerful.

RECREATE THE LOOK
(Showing the pleated skirt as an alternative in Recreate The Look to my skirt featured in this post)
Style Tip: I love how a laid back, long sleeve like the Branwell has girly, intricate details such as the lace elbow patches. The V Neck is a great fall/spring basic. I made mine a bit warmer with a plaid scarf that popped against the cranberry/vibrant burgundy color of the shirt. (This alternative that I just bought is just as cute)
I styled this look for a casual Sunday, and wore the outfit to the coffee shop with the family followed by playtime at the park. We also strolled around enjoying the gorgeous PNW fall colors.
These Frye boots were my keepers from my September Trunk Club, and I can say wholeheartedly they are probably one of my best purchases of the year. They are just special, super versatile, comfortable, and expertly made. (Thanks to all the ladies on TheBoxQueen Facebook page one more time) The Tory Burch bag is just as classic as the Frye’s. I use it all the time.

RECREATE THE LOOK
Style Tip: The feminine short sleeve the Chambers (super similar option under $30) has a pretty scalloped neckline, and a surprise in the back with a wrap over design. (refer to the back photo at the end)
I wanted to style mine with another skirt I acquired just a couple days ago; this plaid pencil skirt. What I love about this piece is the subtle, small scaled print which makes the fall basic plaid elegant. I added black patent pumps, a burgundy clutch with brown tones, and statement jewelry. I would wear this outfit to an event, a conference, or a lunch meeting; any place that would call for a more polished look.
Top: Elizabeth & Clarke c/o ( Scallop Tee – Under $30!!) | Skirt: Sanctuary | Shoes: Old – Identical Style | Clutch: Topshop – Sold Out (Very Similar Style) | Earrings: Stitch Fix (All Reviews Here) | Necklace: Sold Out – LOVE This One!!
RECREATE THE LOOK
Overall Impressions: Once again, Elizabeth & Clarke created a collection of shirts that are classy, wearable, and well made with updated designs, and well thought out details. I know I’ll reach out for these pieces over and over. LOVE!
