Hello Lovelies! After a week of snow, and ice, we were able to have a weekend full of typical NW rain, and happily took advantage of being able to go out with family & friends. Last week I received many of my subscription boxes. Wantable December Style Edit was one of them that got me through the snowy days when we could not get out of the house. (other than for sledding, and snow play of course)
In my December Style Edit I received two sweaters, a cardigan, two dresses, a pair of jeans, and a jacket. This box held great wearable pieces with some fun infused in it; just the way I like it. I always look for items I can multi-task and use in various looks, but as you ladies may have noticed, I do like unique, colorful pieces with personality as well.
I ended up keeping two pieces. Want to see which ones? Make sure to look under the photos for outfit details, style tips & my thoughts. First of though, for all of you new readers, a quick recap of how Wantable Style Edit works, and the highlights of my in-depth Wantable Reviews also including fitness, accessories, make-up, and intimates boxes.
HOW WANTABLE STYLE EDIT WORKS
- Similar to Fitness Edit (which I initially reviewed here) Style Edit also lets you try the items picked for you before you buy. You get 5 or more pieces picked for you by your stylist based on your style profile, and you can keep them for 5 days to try with your own clothes.
- The styling fee is $20 and fully credited towards your purchases. You can keep or send back any or all of the pieces with the enclosed prepaid envelope. If you keep 5 or more items you get 20% off.
- Although Style Edit is a subscription service, you can skip a month or months anytime. Essentially, you have the option to try a single box this way.
- Currently Style Edit is only available to 50 US States.
- You’re only billed for what you keep, and Wantable includes a return label to make it easy and convenient.
You can fill out your style profile from the “Let’s Get Started ” section anytime and when you are done you can decide to order a Style Edit immediately or later. Filling out these style surveys is half the fun for me. They have so much detail that sometimes I even end up discovering what I really like at the moment.
WANTABLE REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS
Excited to show you all my outfits ladies! Let’s begin.
Jack Dudley Textured Knit Back Top ($55)
The first item out of my December Wantable Style Edit was this well made sweater by Jack. It has buttons on the back which I’ll show you a couple photos below. I loved that the fabric is textured, and the arms are dropped style. I like subtle details like these in a well thought out design.
Style Tip: I liked the clean design of this sweater, (similar style I have ) and wanted to keep the rest of the look that way with streamlined, zip hem dark denim jeans (similar dark denim) combination. I put my hair up so the back buttons show, and added a bit of cheer with teal pumps, and also sparkle with the Rocksbox necklace. (Get your Free Month here with CODE:theboxqueenxoxo) I thought the timeless Tory Burch tote would bring another layer of neutral color to the brown top.
Status – Sent Back
I absolutely loved this sweater, and thought it was a clean-cut, modern piece that you can pair with many pants & skirts. I do have this sweater which I just love. I thought mine was so similar (plus the mock neck) in texture that I ended up sending the Jack one back.
Top: Wantable (Similar Style I own) | Jeans: Stitch Fix ( From this review) | Shoes: Sam Edelman Pumps | Bag: Tory Burch Buckle Tote | Jewelry: Rocksbox (Get your FREE MONTH here with CODE: theboxqueenxoxo)

The buttoned back detail.
Dex V-Neck Fit and Flare Dress ($69)
In my notes to my stylist (which you get to do on your account), I asked for wearable fall/winter pieces as well as dresses. She sent me all my requests including two dresses, one of which is this beautiful fit & flare style. ( Also Love this fit & flare style, as well as this patterned one) The dress has gorgeous vegan leather piping, black + burgundy coloring, and once again a unique texture.
Style Tip: Ladies this dress has the best fit ever. Seriously, if Wantable still has it in stock, request it asap. Mine fit me true to size. I have a Trunk Club at home right now that I’ll review very soon, and I am keeping these pumps – on sale right now!!!- from it. (along with another piece) The purple shoes paired nicely with the burgundy, and I love the on trend thick heels. I added this stunning, sparkly clutch, and drop earrings from Wantable accessories. I know I’ll be wearing this dress to a holiday party very soon.

Dress: Wantable ( Also love this Fit & Flare Style) | Shoes: Vince Camuto | Clutch: Rebecca Minkoff | Earrings: Wantable Accessories (kept from this review)
Status – Kept
As you’ve probably guessed by know I am keeping this pretty for all the reasons I listed above. <3
Olive & Oak Hacci Open Cardi ($68) + DEX Lightweight V-Neck Sweater ($59)
Style Tip: This outfit has not one, not two, but exactly three pieces from my December Wantable box. The lightweight knit tunic I layered with, the grey open cardi, and the frayed jeans all came in my Style Edit. The open cardigan, which I also found here, has a nice drape, and the knit I wore inside (so similar to this) is so lightweight that it is the perfect layering item. I like these three together as they made a very cozy, casual outfit.
Just Black Frayed Slim Straight Dark Jeans ($89)
I do own a couple Just Black jeans that I received and kept from personal styling services. This Just Black pair has the good fit I came to expect from the brand. The frayed hem is the cute bonus.

Status- Sent Back All Three Pieces
I have a similar piece at home to all three of these. Most recently I kept a frayed pair of jeans from this Stitch Fix Review.
Cardigan: Wantable ( Exact cardigan here) | Jeans: Wantable ( Very Similar Style) | Bag: Colehaan /Old ( Love this cobalt tote) | Boots: Old ( Love these slouchy mid-calf boots) | Jewelry: Rocksbox ( Get your Free Month here with Code: theboxqueenxoxo)
Bobi Front Twist Dress ($39)
The front twist dress by Bobi is so simple yet so elegant too. I like dresses that achieve this with just a couple details like a nice cut, and a front tie in this particular piece. The fabric is soft, and casual but the look is so easy to fancy up as well.
Style Tip: I wanted to put together a glam outfit with this dress, and all I needed to do was to use a few statement jewelry pieces. They added so much shine & sparkle to the dress that with the grey suede heels, it became a holiday appropriate outfit.
Dress: Wantable (Same Dress in Grey) | Shoes: Sam Edelman/old ( Love these grey pumps) | Jewelry: Boutique & Rocksbox ( Get your Free Month of Rocksbox here with CODE: theboxqueenxoxo)

Overall Impressions: This was a expertly styled Wantable Style Edit box. I felt like my stylist really listened to what I asked for, and as a result I kept two gorgeous pieces that are both welcome additions to my wardrobe. I’ve been subscribing to Wantable for years, and have been loving Style Edit since they first started. You can start your style profile here ladies.
Which piece would you have kept lovelies? Have you tried Wantable Style Edit? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!!
