We are nearing March, and I am slowly but surely getting away from winter pieces, and starting to build my transitional spring wardrobe. Spring is still chilly in the NW, but it can also get warm suddenly so I make sure to layer my outfits to adjust to the temp changes throughout the day. As you may know, and as you can see from my detailed Wantable Reviews, Wantable Style Edit is a personal style subscription I enjoy, and order periodically. For my February box, I asked for exactly what I described above, pieces I can easily wear in spring, and can layer.

I’ll show you the ones I love in outfits below. Make sure to check under the pics to find style tips, shopping lists, and ways to recreate the looks. You can click on the top sides of the visuals to directly go to the product pages. First off is a summary of how Wantable works, and some highlights.

WANTABLE STYLE EDIT REVIEW FEBRUARY 2017
WANTABLE STYLE EDIT REVIEW FEBRUARY 2017

HOW WANTABLE STYLE EDIT WORKS

  • Similar to Fitness Edit (which I initially reviewed here) Style Edit also lets you try the items picked for you before you buy. You get 5 or more pieces picked for you by your stylist based on your style profile, and you can keep them for 5 days to try with your own clothes.
  • The styling fee is $20 and fully credited towards your purchases. You can keep or send back any or all of the pieces with the enclosed prepaid envelope. If you keep 5 or more items you get 20% off.
  • Although Style Edit is a subscription service, you can skip a month or months anytime. Essentially, you have the option to try a single box this way.
  • Currently Style Edit is only available to 50 US States.
  • You’re only billed for what you keep, and Wantable includes a return label to make it easy and convenient.

You can fill out your style profile from the “Let’s Get Started ” section anytime and when you are done you can decide to order a Style Edit immediately or later. Filling out these style surveys is half the fun for me. They have so much detail that sometimes I even end up discovering what I really like at the moment.

WANTABLE REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS

In my February Wantable Style Edit box, I received seven pieces; a shirt, a pair of jeans, three cardigans, and two sweaters. I’ll show you my favorites below. At the time of the review, I have not yet decided what to do with the pieces but all the items I styled are on my top list.

Dex Spacedye Cascade Cardigan, Olive & Oak Tibi Sweater

DEX Cascade Cardigan ($89) + Olive & Oak Tibi Sweater ($54)

Style Tip: Both the inner sweater (similar option here), and the cardigan (love this similar style too) I layered with came in February Wantable Style Edit.  I loved them paired together, and I wore them with my favorite skinny crop jeans.

For this current but timeless look, I added this classic styled Tory Burch bag ( that I kept from this Trunk Club Review), and this modern bracelet. For pop of fun color I chose blue/green pumps, and green earrings.

Wantable Style Edit Review February 2017
Wantable Style Edit Review February 2017

This white off the shoulder sweater is the perfect spring piece. It’s not only on trend and stylish, but also lightweight enough for warmer days, and easy enough to layer. This beauty is sold out but I found this very similar piece on sale as well as this blouse version.

Cupcakes and Cashmere Alana Knit Wrap Coat

Cupcakes and Cashmere Knit Wrap Coat ($85 on Sale)

Style Tip: One of the most amazing pieces that came in my Feb. Style Edit is this sweater coat. (Available in limited sizes but  I also love this similar option) It comes with a belt you can cinch around your waist but I opted to tie the belt on the back for an open front styling.

I LOVE long coats with dresses and for this outfit I chose my grey t-shirt dress. (very similar shirt dress style) A layered pearl necklace, (check out this one) and studs (also from Wantable) added polish. A floral clutch, and purple heels (similar block heels) brought a dose of cheerfulness to the look that I’ve got to have. I can’t get enough of this type of outfits. <3

Jack Vergil Stripe Stitch Cardigan, Sneak Peak Grey Skinny Jean
Jack Vergil Stripe Stitch Cardigan, Sneak Peak Grey Skinny Jean

Jack Stripe Stitch Sweater ( $90) + Sneak Peak Grey Skinny Jean ($68)

Style Tip: Jack by BB Dakota is a brand I love, and Wantable luckily sends me quite a bit of their pieces which I keep frequently. This gorgeous cardigan is by them and I LOVE how it easily pairs with the grey jeans that also came in the Feb. box. You can wear this cardigan so many ways; completely open in the front, tied at the bottom like I did, or tied higher.

Taking my cue from the black detailing in the cardigan, I added black accessories including an on trend velvet, bow choker necklace, (ON Sale for under $3!!!) peep toe laser cut booties, and my beloved large crossbody bag.

  • Julie

Love your pieces from wantable. Do you prefer them over stitch fix? Is there a difference what is offered between 2 sites? Big price difference?

    • Theboxqueen

I truly love both services Julie. I get them for different reasons. Stitch Fix has many specially made for them pieces, and they send me lots of color & pattern.
Wantable Style Edit is also fab as I love the brands they carry such as BB Dakota, Jack, and many more, and their pieces are high quality, and on trend in my experience while being wearable.
For both services make sure to make your style profile super detailed. Price wise you can set it at what you feel comfortable at both services. Pls let me know if you have any other questions, love talking about both services. XOXO, Elif

  • So many cute looks! They definitely sent you some awesome pieces 🙂

    • Theboxqueen

They did a great job with this box. I loved how well made, and easy to pair the pieces were. Happy Weekend! XOXO, Elif

  • Trenise

Great style edit! I love those cardigans and the off the shoulder sweater. I’ll have to do a better job at my requests so that I too can receive great edits from Wantable. It’s been hit or miss for me.

    • Theboxqueen

I’ve been super specific with them Trenise, telling what I exactly want and what I definitely don’t want in detail, even giving examples. Hope it works out for you too, and you get a fab fab box. For me if there are at least 3-4 pieces I love thats a great month. 🙂 Looking forward to hear more about your future Wantable boxes. XOXO, Elif
