I am craving spring. I am craving the warmer weather, the cherry tree blossoms, long walks in nature, sitting under pleasant sunshine on my patio sipping tea, and pretty light weight spring clothes. (You didn’t think I wouldn’t mention spring style right? 🙂 ) As we shed our cozy layers in the coming months, our skin will be on display on the regular. I completely believe in taking care of your skin year around; however, now that spring is knocking, smooth, moisturized skin is even a higher priority for me.

You may have read on TheBoxQueen before about my constant search for body moisturizers with good ingredients that really work and deliver on their claims. If I don’t moisturize my skin daily, it has a tendency to get dry very easily. Our skin is our biggest accessory, and I look & feel my best when my skin looks healthy & radiant.

SPRING SKINCARE WITH Curél® HYDRA THERAPY WET SKIN MOISTURIZER
SPRING SKINCARE WITH Curél® HYDRA THERAPY WET SKIN MOISTURIZER

When I hear good things about a new skincare product I have to give it a try, and I started using Curél® HYDRA THERAPY WET SKIN MOISTURIZER a couple weeks ago. Wet skin moisturizers are pretty cool. After showering skin cells expand like a sponge, which provides an easy pathway for moisture to go deep into the skin for maximum softness. You apply the product on wet skin, and towel dry as usual.

Curél® HYDRA THERAPY WET SKIN MOISTURIZER also has advanced ceramides complex. Ceramides are naturally present in healthy skin, and they help maintain skins moisture barrier. When they are lost, skin becomes dry & damaged. This product helps replenish skins ceramide levels, repairing the moisture barrier. Every day I apply this lotion to my wet skin before toweling off. I’ve really noticed a big difference in my skin, as it’s become more hydrated. It’s softer and smoother and the dry patches on my arms and legs have virtually disappeared.

I believe it’s because of the combination of wet skin application and ceramide formula. Another thing I really appreciate about the product is that it is not greasy & sticky as some traditional lotions. Curél® HYDRA THERAPY has a feel good texture and is absorbed immediately into the skin. Those dry patches are gone! I can’t wait for warm weather, just to show off my smooth skin!

Curél® Skincare has reached out to 40 bloggers, including myself, and researched what annoyed them about their skin year around. The overwhelming answer was, as you can guess, dry skin! I always find these findings interesting, and loved looking through the statistics. It’s significant, and funny as I can relate, that the majority of bloggers tried so many products searching for the best working one. Most of them apply lotion after showering, and 75% of us have been embarrassed by dry skin at least once. Check out the infographics above for yourself, ladies.

I literally live and breathe Curel. I live in the desert and that took a toll on my skin. Made it absolutely dry and I honestly have no arm hair at all. It’s full of redness around the pores nowadays.. but, Curel actually helps it keep hydrated and moisturized. I use it after I take showers. It makes my arms “breathable” basically. Its hard explain, but the longer you use Curel.. you’d see results especially in skin-affected weathers. I havent used the Curél® Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer but I definitely will! Thanks for the tips!!

  • I do suffer from dry skin and moisturize it with lotion mostly before bedtime. It’s basically my hands and they get real bad in the cold winter months, to the point of bleeding if I don’t take the time to treat them nightly. I have never tried Curél but it seems as though it would work well for me.

Great Article! I recently tried, due to reading an article from The Beauty Insiders on certain ingredients that help hydrate and lock in moisture for you skin, and found the Cure Hydra Therapy Wet skin moisture is great especially if you suffer for dry skin as I do from time to time.
