I wanted to follow up this week’s Best Winter Boots Guide with my Best Picks of Women’s Winter Coats. It’s about time I think ladies. Entering December, in many parts of the country, we are facing colder temperatures and where we live in the NW lots of rain too. I’ve found the answer to the cold & the wet weather with a gorgeous, timeless new coat I added to my closet which you will see later in my Winter Coats guide. (and now 50% off too)
If you’ve read my November Trunk Club Review, you’ll remember me talking about the piece I kept, and how I would style it in a separate post. That day is today lovelies. In addition to my fabulous new find, I am also sharing nine other coats that will keep you cozy this season. I’ve made sure to include pieces at a variety of price points, made with several different fabrics, and having different vibes from casual, ladylike, and trendy to super classy.

I am so happy to have kept the below coat from my latest Trunk Club (sent to me in this review) as it is truly a classic. Here in the NW we get so much rain. Pretty much until the early summer, wet weather is a constant in our lives. Although I have all kinds of jackets and coats including leather and suede I usually save those for days when I go from the car to a mall, a restaurant, friends house or the movies; namely all the places that don’t require more than a couple minutes under the rain.
Pendleton Roslyn Waterproof Lambswool Blend Hooded Coat – now on sale 50% off
When its day to day errands, taking the kids to and from school & activities and being out and about a bit more, I usually stick to waterproof jackets such as my puffer coats from Michael Kors and North Face. I was in search of a more tailored coat in a more put together style which could take me from morning errands to say a lunch with a close friend. It had to be able to endure rain and the Pendleton Roslyn Coat was an answer to my search. It is an impeccably well made piece with a lot of attention to detail. What’s more it is made of wool while being waterproof. A truly magical combination for where I live.
Style Tip: This coat has a structured, beautiful fit, and it layers wonderfully with sweaters, or tees alike. The outfit you see in these pictures is just the look I could wear on any given day when it consists of daily activities with maybe a casual social get together, coffee or lunch thrown in. I love that the coat has much more of a presence compared to my everyday puffers yet it is functional and practical being waterproof. The fact that the wool makes it perfect for the cold weather is a huge bonus.
This piece was more of an investment when I bought it however right now it is 50% off which is an enormous deal if you ask me. I paired it with skinny denim as well as these also new patterned boots which completely elevate a casual look to new heights. I used a metal handle bag similar to this one, and finished off my outfit with Lucite designer earrings from Rocksbox. (Try Rocksbox FREE for a month here lovelies)
