Hello Gorgeous Fellow Stitch Fix ladies! Since we turned the leaf for the second month of the new year, I have been looking forward to share my Stitch Fix Review February 2019 with you lovelies. This is my box #75!!! Another incredible milestone has officially been reached with Stitch Fix haha, and I can’t wait for my #100th box which will be the next big thing. 🙂
I mentioned in my previous review that my very long time stylist has left to pursue other hopefully great things in her life, and I was assigned to a new stylist. Well I officially want her to become my permanent stylist as I think she got my style, and what I need so quickly. Today’s box is an excellent mix of casual, and more glam pieces, and I feel like every item chosen was given a lot of attention based on my feedback, and requests. It was a pleasure styling these pretties in brand new Stitch fix looks.
Today to celebrate my 75th box I am giving away a $50 Stitch Fix Gift Card. Make sure to enter via the Rafflecopter but of course not before you see all the beautiful clothes, and the pair of shoes that were sent to me in outfits. 🙂

HOW STITCH FIX WORKS AND HOW TO GET YOUR BEST BOX?
At Stitch Fix Website, you fill out a VERY detailed style profile. They ask everything from your height, weight, to top and bottom sizes. You include details on the types of styles you like such as glamorous, preppy or boho as well as a bunch of info on how you want things to fit.
Theboxqueen’s Tip: Be as honest with yourself here as possible. I remember when I first filled my style profile, I answered the Q’s with more of what I dream my style to be rather than what was actually needed for my current lifestyle. I am a mom of three young kids. I love glam style, and incorporate that into my life here and there. The truth is most glam pieces are not functional for my everyday life. I now ask for more casual styles.
My suggestion is to fill out the style profile even if you are not ready to order just now; it’ll give you an idea on your style and you’ll get a sense on what Stitch Fix is about.
- You pay a $20 styling fee upfront. This is applied to your keepers, so if you keep at least one piece you don’t lose it. Also when you keep your whole box ( like I did a couple times so far) you get 25% off the entire purchase. I always keep at least one piece as I would hate to lose my styling fee.
- Make a Pinterest board that is a good representation of your style. Pin types of Stitch Fix pieces you like as well as your own photos so the stylists can see who they are styling and your fashion choices.
Theboxqueen’s Tip: Here is my personal Stitch Fix Pinterest Board. I pin what I like from Stitch Fix here as well as how I styled previous pieces so the stylists can get a better idea of what I like, my body type etc. I think these all help them find the best pieces for me. Feel free to join me there to see what I am liking from new SF items, and my new SF outfits.
- Leave detailed notes to your stylist when you check out. When it’s time for checking out, they ask you for feedback on your fix. Write why you loved your keeper item(s), and the specific reasons why a piece didn’t work for you.
Theboxqueen’s Tip: I always make sure to include details such as ” The waist was a tad too tight” or ” The color wasn’t flattering on me” or ” The skirt was two inches too short for my taste”. The more specific the better.
- Make requests but know that there are no guarantees. One fun thing about Stitch Fix is the surprise factor, and how it pushes you out of your comfort zone.
- If you don’t want to wait too long for fixes, sign up for automatic shipments. You can determine the frequency. I usually go for once a month nowadays but I may make it more frequent again once the new season rolls in.
- You have three days to decide, and mix and match with your own clothes. When you are done, you send back everything you don’t want to keep; in a prepaid envelope included with your box. Love how quick and easy this system works.
- I love that SF now offers exchanges. Do you love your items but need a smaller or bigger size? Just let them know to make an exchange.
- Stitch Fix now offers petite, plus, maternity, men’s and kids styling services.
WHAT DO I ASK FOR IN MY PERSONAL STYLE PROFILE?
In a gist, I ask for pieces that are suitable for a mom of three kids under the age of 14, but who also loves cool, trendy items that can easily be mixed and matched. I think you can definitely be a mom, and stay chic especially with comfy pieces high on style. In addition, I ask for fun colors, cool details like shoulder cuts, back openings, or lace up designs as well as a variety of textures, and prints. I think these bring life to your closet, and also to your existing outfits. I also utilize the shoes & bags Stitch Fix sends and request them both frequently from my stylists.
A NEWER FEATURE OF STITCH FIX I LOVE
Stitch Fix has a newish “My Items” Section that I am so excited for. You can see every single piece that you’ve kept from the personal styling service together in a historical list.
I’ve always wanted Stitch Fix to have this option as many times I wanted to see everything I kept in one place with brands and date of Stitch Fix received. It is a great visual of what I loved from Stitch fix over the years and also serves as a practical visual board where I can look for trends in brands I’ve loved, kinds of pieces I kept etc.
This feature is also wonderful when you are trying to build a capsule wardrobe and want to figure out what to request from your stylist next. <3
STITCH FIX REVIEW FEBRUARY 2019
In my 75th Stitch Fix box I received a beautiful striped dress, a cold shoulder knit top, a floral print top in an eye catching color, a pair of snakeskin heels, and a sweater dress.
As always I’ll show you how I put together full outfits with each piece I received in my February Stitch Fix box. Under the photos you’ll find my style tips, outfit details, and also visuals that can be clicked and that would take you directly to the products so you can check current prices & color options available. I also always point out the same Stitch Fix pieces I’ve found online.
Ready to start beauties? Let’s do this and start my February Stitch Fix Review.
Stitch Fix styled the cold shoulder knit top with jeans and flat boots as well as with leopard heels.
Kaileigh Skye Lace Detail Cold Shoulder Knit Top ($38)
Style Tip: The cold shoulder top was the perfect mix of casual and fancy. I loved the touch of lace, and the side knot design. The black lace trim inspired me to match the piece with black ankle skinny jeans. Ladies this pair of jeans has a sculpting effect and the most flattering fit especially around the booty. It’s one of my best purchases.
For shoes I chose this pair of boots. They are at the perfect length, and have comfy high but practical heels. I love that they give me bit of a lift. I wanted to bring in some softness to my outfit with this pastel colored bag.
My watch from Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style (Review here. Get the Spring Box $15 Off here with CODE: SPRINGAFF15 ) tassel earrings & a ring from Rocksbox completed my casual chic look. Get a FREE MONTH of Rocksbox here and try my favorite jewelry service – no commitment.
Top: Stitch Fix | Pants: Sculting Crop Skinny Jeans (Best jeans for a flattering fit!) | Boots: Marc Fisher | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Tassel Earrings: Sold Out / Super Similar Option | Ring: Rocksbox – Try my Favorite Jewelry Service FREE for a MONTH here | Watch: Rachel Zoe Box of Style – Get the Spring Box $15 Off here with CODE: SPRINGAFF15
I love this knit top. It has eye catching design details, and a casual but cool vibe. As it is pretty lightweight I can easily transition into spring with it. <3
RECREATE THE LOOK
Nine Britton striped dress was styled by Stitch Fix in pretty looks but I am partial to the heels and the gorgeous red moto jacket.
Nine Britton Varella Brushed Knit Midi Dress ($54)
Style Tip: This striped dress has a gorgeous fit. The way the stripes were positioned & the gathered knot waist created a flattering silhouette. I love the length, the color combo as well as the fact that the dress is not super tight around my body. It is so much comfier than a body con style. ( a V neck striped dress option I adore)
I paired the dress with the snakeskin print shoes (love this similar pair) that also came in my February Stitch Fix box. I chose the metallic clutch that is a previous Stitch Fix keeper ( from this review ) as the shoes had a subtle metallic gold tint to them. I added a layered bracelet similar to this one, as well as earrings I kept from Rocksbox. (Try my Favorite Jewelry Service FREE for a MONTH here)
Dress: Stitch Fix ( Love this Under $40 casual option) | Shoes: Stitch Fix ( Gorgeous identical style) | Bag: Stitch Fix ( Cute gold metallic option) | Earrings: Rocksbox – Try my Favorite Jewelry Service FREE for a MONTH here | Bracelet: Sold Out ( Love this pearl option)

STATUS DRESS: UNDECIDED
Ladies what do you think? I could use your opinions on this dress. On one hand I have a couple similar dresses in my wardrobe already, on the other hand I really do like this piece. What to do? What do you all think?
BC Footwear Printed Heel ($79)
This pair is beautiful. The snakeskin print has a tint of metallic to it that is so pretty and the fit is comfortable as the heels are chunkier. ( I love these similarly patterned shoes if you want a dressier heel)
STATUS SNAKESKIN PRINT HEELS – SENDING BACK
I am sending this pair back as I already own a similar style that is in the same color group. I do love these shoes though if any of you are thinking of requesting them from Stitch Fix.
Stitch Fix styled the sweater dress with long boots in one look and a faux fur vest in another.
Nine Britton Anna Ribbed Hacci Button Dress ($54)
Style Tip: This darling sweater dress is the best everyday casual piece you can easily accessorize to create a chic outfit, perfect for a more stylish day look. I wore mine with peep toe booties and a neutral bag I received in my Box of Style Select Edition. ( Get the Spring Box $15 Off here with CODE: SPRINGAFF15 )
I wanted to add some personality to this blank canvas of a dress so I added a vintage style pendant necklace as well as a timeless bracelet similar to this one. I could be seen in a similar outfit on any given day. It made me feel comfortable, put together, and warm too. (check out this sweater dress option as an alternative)
Dress: Stitch Fix (Love this sweater dress option) | Shoes: Sold Out (Great Peep Toe Bootie option) | Bag: Rachel Zoe Box of Style – Get the Spring Box $15 Off here with CODE: SPRINGAFF15 | Necklace + Bracelet: Old / Cute Pendant Necklace + Pretty Bracelet Option
I can create so many effortless looks with this one dress. Depending on how I style it with booties, sneakers, and heels in addition to various jackets and vests, I know this dress will be a multi tasking piece in my closet used in a ton of outfits. Maybe you may even see it in a future Stitch Fix Remix edition. 🙂
RECREATE THE LOOK
On the Stitch Fix styling cards we see the floral blouse in two outfits with flats.
West Kei Allan Rolltab High Low Blouse ($42)
Style Tip: Stitch Fix does an amazing job with prints. Over the years I kept stunning, eye catching patterns from the brand. This high low blouse is no different. The combination of the bold colors is hard to miss, and the top instantly livens up this pair of jeans. I wanted to continue the yellow mustard tones somewhere else in my look and chose this pair of slide sandals as shoes.
Btw I am sure you are seeing the contrast of the snow behind me and the summery sandals haha. I embraced the cold so I could share this look with you ladies. We could also say it was wishful thinking for warmer weather as I miss it so much. 🙂
Top: Stitch Fix (Similar Blouse I Love) | Denim: Hudson Ankle Skinny Jeans | Shoes: Vaneli Slide Sandal | Bag: Old / Similar same brand bag | Earrings: Baublebar (this set is fab!) | Bracelet: Old / Similar Option
I still have a couple more days with my Stitch Fix box and I also would love input on this piece. What do you think ladies? Is it a keeper?
RECREATE THE LOOK
Overall Impressions: I loved my 75th Stitch Fix box. I found pretty and versatile pieces from it that I’ll wear often, and I could have easily kept the whole box if I did not practice self restraint haha. I am also undecided on two pieces still. 🙂 I’ve been using Stitch Fix for the past 6+ years and have been reviewing the service for five of those years. I can wholeheartedly recommend Stitch Fix to all of you ladies. Sign up here to try Stitch Fix and experience the fun yourself.
