You ladies by now know how passionate I am about style however if you peaked into my bathroom vanity you would see literally hundreds of products there, and in the drawers haha. It’s no joke. I am such a huge beauty and skincare fan and LOVE trying out new or “new to me” products.
The ten products I am sharing below are my latest favorites. Can’t wait to talk about each one with you lovelies. Ready to see them? Let’s take a look.
I like to change up my make up and skincare routines periodically as I love to try new colors and technologies and I believe that my skin benefits from new serums or masks after I use one for a couple months. This does not mean that some amazing products don’t become permanent fixtures in my life because they do.
Some products are so good that I keep replenishing them the moment they are gone or go back to them after trying new formulas. You can’t go wrong with my current ten products that are on constant rotation currently. See them below in clickable visuals which will be followed by why I love each of these in detail.
10 BEAUTY PRODUCTS I AM LOVING RIGHT NOW
1) Too Faced – Born This Way Foundation
Daily I use BB creams with high SPF over moisturizers, especially when I am running errands, volunteering at my kids schools or going somewhere after exercising. A couple months ago I started looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that felt a bit more traditional for lunches with friends, date nights, or whenever I wanted to create a more matte base for makeup that will go over. I still wanted a product with good for you ingredients, and an oil free formula. (Born This Way has hyaluronic Acid, coconut water, and alpine rose in it for a youthful appearance, and for more moisturized, smoother skin)
After reading countless reviews and talking to friends I decided to give Too Faced – Born This Way Foundation a try and I am more than half way in my first bottle. I like that the coverage is smooth. It creates an amazing palette to layer with a shimmery bronzing powder or blushes as the the Born This Way has a matte finish.
I found my shade with the shade finder on Sephora Website, on the product page, and ordered my foundation online. It worked out perfectly. Give it a try ladies, this feature makes shopping online so easy. This product has 35 shades so there is something for everyone.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: The Born This Way foundation is working out great for me. I use it a couple days a week and love how it creates a flawless base. If you have very dry skin make sure to use it with moisturizer under (which I think you should do anyways) I apply a SPF moisturizer about half an hr before I’ll put on my makeup to create a hydrated base.
2) Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick (Color: Bond Girl )
I bought Sephora’s Give Me More Lip set (out of stock now) back in November specifically to try Charlotte Tilburry’s Revolution Lipstick in the Bond Girl color. This lipstick is also an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: The color is a stunning berry red and every time I put it on I feel sophisticated, and chic which is a tall order for a lipstick but it accomplishes it. Any outfit I put on, if I finish with this shade, I feel like it pulls the look together and gives it a stylish vibe. There is a lot of pigment in this color. The formula feels creamy and it does not dry my lips which is a priority. I am so happy I got to try this product as I plan to buy it in nude pink too. LOVE!
3) Too Faced – Chocolate Gold Soleil Bronzer ( Color: Medium chocolate gold bronze with gold shimmer )
When I came back from my beach vacation last summer I wanted to find a powder bronzer that would continue to give me the shimmer, shine, and healthy tone the sun gave to my skin. I’ve been hearing about their Chocolate Gold Soleil Bronzer that has real gold, and cocoa powder in it and ordered one for myself. I am now half way through my second box ladies. 🙂
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: First of all I would choose this shimmer version of the bronzer over the matte option the same brand offers. In my opinion matte bronzers end up looking a bit chalky however this shimmery version is much more see through and looks natural.
I love that the shimmer gives a nice sparkle to my face without feeling too glittery or fake. The color is beautiful medium gold and instantly makes my olive skin glow. I also love that I don’t have to use a lot of product. The bronzer has a lot of pigment and a little bit of it goes a long way. With my Bare Minerals brush (which is the product I am sharing right below ) I swipe it to the sides of my nose, my cheekbones, my forehead and a bit on my chin, and voila my face looks and feels alive. <3
4) BareMinerals- Full Flawless Face Brush
Ladies I bought this brush years ago in one of BareMineral’s starter kits. I of course finished all the products that came in that kit however this brush stayed with me over the years.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: The Full Flawless Face Brush is one of the brushes in my big brush collection however it’s definitely has stayed a favorite over the years. I take good care of it. I clean it with Sephora’s brush cleaner frequently and let it dray flat on a paper towel. Most of my bronzers I apply with this brush. I think it deposits just enough product and blends everything really well.
5) Sol de Janeiro – Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
Next up is a product I am obsessed with. Let me give you a little background. I use Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist . This scent has a pistachio and salted caramel base and smells INCREDIBLE. I carry it in my purse all the time, and reapply it throughout the day and literally everywhere I go women stop and ask me about it. The other day I went to my annual dental check up and even my dentist’s assistant was asking me about what perfume I was using and said she loves this one. The Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist has become somewhat of a cult favorite I guess.
Which brings me back to Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. This cream has the same scent as my body fragrance mist and feels like such a luxurious moisturizer.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: I use the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream after my daily shower all over my body and my skin feels smooth, and hydrated not to mention smells unbelievable. As you may have noticed from the name, it’s suppose to have tightening effects on the booty and body too which is always a plus. ADORE!
6) Sol de Janeiro – Brazilian Touch Hand Cream + 7) Sol de Janeiro – Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter
The same brand that makes my body mist + Bum Bum Cream also makes a hand cream and lip butter. Not only do these products have that scrumptious scent that I mentioned above but they are also extremely moisturizing with nourishing ingredients. They have cupuaçu butter, açaí, and coconut for antioxidant benefits, and hydrating for the hands, cuticles, and the lips. The products are vegan, and don’t have gluten, animal by-products, propylene glycol, synthetic colors, PEGs, and petrolatum in them.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: As you can see from my hand cream above, it’s used almost entirely and I like what it has done for my hands. I use it at least twice a day, and my hands look and feel baby smooth. The lip butter is also great at hydrating. I have lips that get extra dry so I apply the Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter many times during the day. It has helped my chapped lips stay moisturized and as a result my lipsticks look better on my lips too.
8) DERMA E Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water
Ladies you’ve probably heard all the great things about Micellar Cleansing Waters. These are practically purified water and some hydrating ingredients that attract oil and dirt so your face gets cleaned throughly. DERMA E is an eco-ethical brand I’ve known and trust and I first saw their Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water at WholeFoods of all places while I was grocery shopping. I bought one on the spot that day and now I am on my third bottle.
After purchasing my first one from WholeFoods, I found out that DERMA E sells the same product through Amazon Prime. I have been purchasing my next bottles there, and they are $5 less expensive compared to the store price too.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: I love this cleanser. I put it on a large round cotton ball and clean my face with it. The Vitamin C has possible collagen support benefits, and my face feels so fresh. Every two to three days I also use DERMA E’s Microdermabrasion Scrub after I clean my face, and love how it gets rid of dead skin cells, getting rid of dullness in my skin.
9) Caudalie – Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
I received the Caudalie – Vinoperfect Radiance Serum in my Box of Style Select Box – use CODE: BOXQUEEN15 for $15 off of the spring box. (See the review here) Caudalie is a French brand and this serum includes viniferine, a natural ingredient from grapevine sap that the brand says is 62 times more effective at brightening than vitamin C.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: I use this serum once a day, usually after I wake up, especially over the couple sun spots on my cheeks. So many reviewers say their sun spots disappeared so I am so hopeful. I definitely can attest to the brightening power of the serum already as with it my skin feels much clearer. I wait about half an hr before I apply makeup over it.
10) CLINIQUE – Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
Ladies this is the BEST eye make-up remover for eyes and lips I’ve found. I needed a formula that was suitable for contact lens wearers and CLINIQUE’s Take The Day Off Makeup remover is ophthalmologist tested.
TheBoxQueen’s Thoughts: This product is such a classic that I’ve been using for a long time. It is gentle around my eyes, works great for even taking off waterproof mascara and all types of eyeliners I use, and is perfect for taking off dark lipstick too. I’ll keep buying this product for a long time.
Do you use any of the above products ladies? What are your experiences with them? I would love to hear it all. <3
